Used 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee 80th Anniversary Edition 4dr SUV (3.6L 6cyl 8A) Consumer Reviews
Beware of this “Safety Feature”
For the last six months, this 2021 Grand Cherokee has been my very favorite car I’ve ever driven. However, one of the “safety features” just cost me $1600 to fix damages to my Jeep. The lane assist feature is automatically on all the friggin time and you have to remember to turn it off every single time you turn on the vehicle. I forgot to turn it off this past weekend and I reached for my sunglasses but my car thought I wasn’t paying attention and veered to the right, hit a curb, popped one tire instantly, severely damaged another tire, bent and scratched my wheels, and crushed my alignment. This cost me $1600 to have fixed today. Jeep needs to allow this stupid featured to be turned off permanently or else make it so you have to turn it on if you want to use it. I hated this “safety feature” before and now I hate it even more. I’m just glad it was a curb next to me and not another vehicle.

THEY BURN DOWN
I made a 22 hour drive and it burnt down. A MEASLY 22 HOUR DRIVE FROM CENTRAL FL TO WEST TX AND IT STRAIGHT UP BURNT TO A CRISP!! I’m lucky me and my girlfriend didn’t become a couple of roadside crispy critters on that unfortunate night!! What a joke these vehicles have become!! Completely disgraceful and totally un-American of Chrysler to put people lives at risk with faulty Jeep’s on the road! What a shame!

What an improvement over my last SUV
I had a 2018 Volvo XC60 that I really disliked so I traded it in on a Jeep Grand Cherokee. What a difference: the Jeep is far quieter - you can actually hear the radio at highway speeds. The voice command system in the Jeep also works very well - it did not work well at all in the Volvo. Other improvements are load space, more accurate GPS, better screen interface, smoother ride. This Jeep has a much stronger engine and a trailer towing package and I was afraid that I would get much less fuel mileage with it - surprisingly it only gets 2 mpg less than the Volvo and it uses regular gas which ends up not costing any more to drive. One of the best features with the Jeep is that I do not need to go more than 20 minutes to a dealer for service and no longer need to wait weeks for a service appointment.
