Used 2020 Jeep Gladiator Consumer Reviews
Best Truck ever
This truck is PERFECT for the home owner. It holds everything you need it to hold. I can tow a camper or a trailer full of ATVs. It has 4 doors and plenty of room for 4 adults, 5 for a shorter ride. It is amazing in the snow because at its heart it is a Jeep. And the best of the best is that the doors and roof come off. What other truck can do that?
GladiGator
My Gladiator is Gator Clear in color and I love it…I read the Edmunds report that it lacked power, was loud in the cab, rode rough…I’ve driven Ford trucks for 35 years and this Gladiator beats them in every category.

Best yet
Mojave great on highway, 95% of Rubicon off road.
Great and irritating
2020 Mojave Trim --25k mi. Purchased new. It can tow, decent bed payload, tons of accessories, super fun to drive off road. I have had an issue with coolant leaking. Mopar has replaced the water pump, heating core, and more recently, the thermostat. Within the 1st few thousand miles of ownership they replaced the steering box, due to too much play while at freeway speed. I also replace the steering damper which fixed the problem immediately (I was informed there is a class action on this now). I would recommend this with caution. Due to current car market, I will keep this, but would consider trading in for a Tundra under more favorable conditions. One additional note on towing-- Although it is rated for around 6k, I have a decent size lake boat and it struggles to tow it--also the width of the truck and mirror config make it difficult to see when backing up. Hope this helps!

Fun, amazing, versatile
Switched from Land Rover (26 yrs) to Jeep. Live in mountains of Colorado where 4 feet of snow in the drive is “fun”. We have a Grand Cherokee L Summit 7 passenger for the family that is Awesome, and I have the Mojave Gladiator. So much fun, so versatile and so much more capable (for me) than the other gladiators. The Mohave is meant to play with the Raptors. All gladiators built on a Ram 1/2 ton frame, the Mojave built on a “reinforced” 1/2 ton ram frame. Instead of bump stops like on the rubicon version, the Mojave has an inner compression shock inside the coil spring. This allows you to launch off a sand dune to “whoosh” off upon landing rather than get jolted with a rigid bump stop. Has auxiliary reservoir fox shocks, wider stance, 1” higher vrs other gladiators. Only 3 off-road trails in Colorado where Mojave not recommended vrs the rubicon version because it does not have the disconnecting feature of the stabilizer bar like the rubicon from the factory. (You can add this feature aftermarket), however I don’t want any play in my steering). I blast through 4 feet of snow in my drive, go on guided jeep tours in the mountains and drive straight through from Denver to Idaho Falls , Idaho nonstop in perfect comfort and support from the leather seat with side bolsters. I added 600 lbs of sand tubes in the bed of the truck for highway driving just to soften the suspension a bit. Truck has 5’ bed that is really functional, holds all the weight I need to carry with excellent tie points for ratchet straps. Companies out there do hemi conversions which I looked at but the stock engine moves the 5000 + pound truck moves this truck plenty fast. Gear ratios let you accelerate quickly into traffic with a top end 95 plus. I say 95 plus because I stopped accelerating at that point. I don’t need another triple digit ticket. I see great value in the Mojave. We kept our Land Rover’s for 250,000 miles then gave them to our kids to drive another 100,000 miles. Our kids are already asking for the Mojave. :-)
