Wish it was more reliable

I liked this car from the get go for all the reasons mentioned in the other review. But I'm not happy with reliability. The radio gave out (got another one on ebay), the power steering control module gave out (got another one at junk yard), the power steeing pump gave out (got another one at kragen), the front passenger door no longer opens (dealer says it costs $500 to fix), the fuel door gave out (fixed it myself), sometimes smokes in the morning or won't start (may be a fuel injector problem), there may be a suspension problem as all new tires vibrate even with new shocks. Other than that, pretty nice car.

I purchased my J30t about two weeks ago, and I must say I've been very impressed with it thus far. I've read a lot of the reviews on the car and many of the problems items talked about in the other reviews...i.e., tranny, radio, had already been replaced by the previous owner. It's a great car.. I got it for just over 5 grand. The styling is great..really sharp for a ca as old as it is. It still turns heads. It's jet black and chromed out. I put 18 inch rims on it along with toyo tires. And I must say it looks even meaner.

I bought this vehichle with 70K miles on it. It seems the fuel injectors go on this vehicle after 70k or so. Plus the vehicle does not hold its value very well either. Has been nothing but a headache to me since i bought it

While it's true that I had always admired the beauty of the J30, I've been surprised by a couple of things. (1) the engine seems a little rough for a luxury car and (2) the interior hasn't held up very well. The leather seats and steering wheel have cracked quite a bit over time. This has been especially surprising because the car has spent most of its life in dreary Seattle. Having said all of that, I still do like the way the car looks and I've never had any reliability issues save the broken left rear power window.
