Used 2005 Hyundai Tucson GLS Fwd 4dr SUV (2.7L 6cyl 4A) Consumer Reviews
Regret
I enjoyed the look of this vehicle and warranty, very smooth ride. I only had the Tuscon for three weeks when it would die while driving it. Thank goodness for the warranty. I don't think I would purchase again. The Tuscon does not hold its value and not worth what I paid for it.

Happy Tuscon Owner
We had waited for the Tuscon to come out for a year. Just wanted to see what it looked like and how it drove. After seeing a commercial at our local theater a couple of months ago, (I was hooked). I tend to hold on to a vehicle for many years reluctant to trade but after seeing and test driving the Tuscon I had to have it. I reluctantly gave up my Elantra of five years, but I am very happy with the change. The Tuscon is very easy to drive and everything is very easy to operate. My first tank of gas showed the vehicles performance at 22 miles to the gallon. I expect it will get better after engine break-in. Thank you Hyundai for coming through with another great vehicle.
Tucson v6 FWD
I bought this vehicle used 2 years ago with 150km. It has been the worst vehicle I have ever owned. Within a month of owning it, it was a gas guzzling piece of junk and had lack of power and would turn its self off. I replaced several sensors which seemed to help. After 6 months, I replaced more sensors as the vehicle would rev while stopped and would literally buck forward with your foot on the brake. I got may another 5 months without another garage bill, then we came to winter, and the car would turn its self off when I would turn it on to warm up, i took it to the garage AGAIN! I'm told that ANOTHER sensor needs to be replaced, so i pay to have it replaced. maybe 3 months later the vehicle loses power, literately no power when accelerating. When trying to increase speed, the vehicle literally bucks and loses power and rev's 4000rpm and barely moves and it is also stalling multiple times a day so here we go to the garage again am told both cat's "might" be plugged. at this point there is no reason to put any further money into a POS that has had nothing but problems. I wish someone would steal it that way i can rid it from my name.
2005 Tuscon(or is that a Lexus or BMW?)
I've owned the Tuscon for a month and have put a 1,000 miles on it.The fit and finish of this vehicle is very impressive. The interior is quiet; no squeaks or rattles and you do not have that cheap plastic feel surrounding you as you drive. It feels like your driving a well thought out solid vehicle. If some people have not heard...HYUNDAI has arrived. These are not the same throw away Hyundai's of the past. They have really improved in every aspect.
