Great SUV
I love my new 07 Santa Fe handles great. Very smooth ride and enough room inside for me and my family
Great Value - minor issues
Love the size, styling, and extra features like visor extenders, telescoping steering wheel, reclinging rear seats and four power outlets that are unexpected on base models. 24 MPG on first tank of gas in mixed city- highway driving (gentle driver). Smooth engine and transmission, adequate power in 2.7 liter. Have heard the 2.7 gets much better mileage than 3.3.

An amazing SUV
Just purchased a 2007 Santa Fe Limited AWD. The car is amazing. The redesign makes this SUV best in class. Looks and performs like a luxury SUV for thousands less!
Nature Lover
Before choosing this vehicle, I tested Honda CRV and Toyota Rav4 (4 cylinders) but ended up with total disappointment. Both vehicles were overpriced and underpowered. Then I tested Honda Pilot and Toyota Highlander. I preferred Highlander. However, I decided to give Hyundai Santa Fe a try. As soon as I drove the demo on the highway, I immediately fell in love with this model: beautiful exterior and interior design , excellent sound system and more importantly, a very dynamic and sporty power train but with a much more reasonable price tag. I have put over 37,000 miles on the SUV, not a tiny problem. I always brought the vehicle to the dealer for recommended services. the best SUV choice!
Base 07 Santa Fe Review
Hyundai's first US designed and manufactured model is awesome. I have people thinking this is the Infiniti FX35 or the Acura MDX when they look at it from different angles! I have the arctic white 2.7L engine with the automatic/sportronic transmission. This car has enough power with this engine to do what it needs to do, carry my wife and my baby with space for the stroller/etc in the cargo area. Great looks inside and out. People think this is a luxury car whenever they see it, since it has great interior(wood grain trimming, fake aluminim trimming, and dual color dashboard/interior). Second row has its own storage(floor shelves, backseat pockets) and air conditioning!
Nice, Fun SVU
I have been driving this SUV for our two months and love the way it drives. It is so much smoother that the Explorer I owned prior to this vehicle. It handles better than any SUV I have driven and can turn on a dime. The interior is very comfortable and my two young daughters love riding in the third row seats. Overall we are extremely happy with this purchase.
Love IT!
Great vehicle! Sexy Look! Great value. Better than EPA gas mileage already (1200 miles). This is a very nice vehicle for the money. You won't be sorry with this one I don't think.
Best Buy Out There
We have not owned long but what a pleasure to drive. It is fun to drive, handles great in and out of curves. The 2.6 has all we need and the shiftronic is great as well.
Hard to believe its a Hyundai
What a great vehicle. Styling is great, comfort great. MPG per tank has been no less than 23.5. Road trip of 250 miles saw over 27 mpg at 68 mph with a/c. The 2.7 is gutless when passing on a hill but fuel efficient. Otherwise engine is sufficient and quiet. Interior is very comfortable and quiet. I love driving to work everyday now! This vehicle hands down trumps the competition. I drove everything !
Great Surprise
I was hesitant when I considered a Hyundai. Research and friends who are Santa Fe owners alleviated my concern. I bought the GLS because cost figured in to my decision. I am not disappointed. This is a great SUV. It is all that I hoped it would be and more. After having owned Chrysler product minivans over the past 20 years, this GLS is a definite step up.It drives great, it's fun, it's comfortable. It looks great. My wife and i love it.
