Used 2018 Hyundai Elantra Value Edition 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl 6A) Consumer Reviews
Very nice looking car
Love the car. Very pretty quartz white pearl color. Would be perfect if it had vents in the back, a bigger center console for storage, & a lock feature for the glove compartment.
The Best
What do I like. The quality for the buck is phenomenal. I've owned a Mercedes and the technology on my Elantra was better than my Mercedes. The car's performance level is excellent. If I need to accelerate to pass a car or enter a freeway, there is no hesitation. I am also impressed with the mileage. I can get over 40 mpg on the highway. The layout of the dash and instrument panel is spot on with easy reach and clearly marked switches/knobs. I have the value package and the included sunroof and sound system is greatly appreciated and used. BTW this is the 5th Hyundai I have owned and one of my cars saved our lives in an accident. The airbags and crumple zones worked perfectly when we were hit with only minor injuries as the car was totaled.

Solid, for the most part
Bought mine brand-new, now at 45k miles. Have only had to replace the blower motor and left-front strut mount nut (both under warranty). Other than that, runs like a champ. Only hang-up: it makes this weird creaking noise when making turns, like something in the suspension isn’t lubricated. Taken it to the dealership four times for the issue, and they can’t pinpoint it. Started at about 6-8k miles of ownership. Kind of irritating.

Great little car with great gas mileage
This is a great, sporty looking, economical little car. It has all the safety features - blind spot monitoring, cross-traffic alert - and technology like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It has a nice touch screen, heated seats, keyless entry and startup, and a sunroof. It also has a touch-free trunk. It gets great mileage, too. Others have said the power is lacking, but I've never experienced that. It comes with Sport and Economy mode - power and save gas - and even in regular mode, it has quite a bit of pickup, even on the highway. It doesn't have a lot of headroom - I'm 5'2, and if my hair is up in a top knot it can hit the top of the car - but it's a really comfortable, quiet ride. The backseat isn't the roomiest, but two adults can sit mostly comfortably. I'd definitely buy it again.
