Used 2018 Hyundai Elantra Value Edition 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl 6A) Consumer Reviews
Extremely happy with my Elantra!
I have been extremely happy with my Hyundai Elantra! It has everything I wanted, it was a great price and it continues to amaze me! I have had it since 2018. My trip to Daytona Beach on Labor Day showed an average of 41.3 miles per gallon! This is my 4th Hyundai-my son has had two. Between us, we have had Sonatas, Elantras and a white Genesis. No less than perfect issues. Family for life-SUV next.
Love my Scarlet Red Elantra
I have really enjoyed driving my 2018 Hyundai Elantra, a year and half later it is still such a smooth quiet ride. Very happy with this choice

Great car.
Central Ohio driver. Bought new late in 2018. I am by no means a picky driver but I really do like everything about the car. Only one year has passed but I'd recommend the car if anyone is considering to buy this car used. Most of all I like the tech features using Android auto(never had it before) and according to the car gauge I can easily get upwards of 38+ mpg over the course of any week which is mostly highway driving to and from work. Time will tell on total life of the car but I am one to keep my car for it's lifespan. I don't trade in etc. so I will see.

Never hated a vehicle so much
Previously owned a 2013 Toyota Corolla LE, before purashing the 2018 Hyundai Elantra Value edition. This vehicle has been nothing but problems. For starters, the gas gauge initially did not work from day one. I noticed this after the gas hasn't moved from a quarter tank after a week. Of course this was repair under warranty. Although it did take about 2 weeks & an obvious hassle after buying a brand new vehicle. I only wish the problems stopped there. During that initial complaint- I notice the poor performance of the brakes and tires, along with a rattling noise while accelerating. I have always driven a sedan, with no issues of safety even in Maine winter. The brake and tire combination is so POOR I feel unsafe driving this vehicle with the roads slightly wet at all. I can't even get this vehicle to move in the snow. The dealership stated, brakes are fine, that's just how the car runs. And as far as the very loud sound of the engine rattling while accelerating. That's just "how the car runs." Which has been a common theme. Most recently I have noticed the air conditioning malfunction. It seems to have a hard time keeping up with cooling when the temps are over 80 degrees. It will automatically switch to auto defrost , which blasts out UNBEARABLY cold air. Mind you if my windshield needs to be defrosted, the auto defrost never comes on. These may seem like minor issues to some, but when purchasing a brand new vehicle I expect quality and reliability. Which is NOT what you will get from this vehicle. In fact after stating I was unhappy with the performance of my vehicle the sales manager even stated "well what did you expect you bought a $16k vehicle" so there ya go! Don't expect much

Tried it but didn’t buy it
Car seemed alright but for the money I’d expected more after reading reviews on the Hyundai . The car looked and felt cheap. I bought a Toyota Corolla SE instead and feel it was the better choice
