Used 2021 Hyundai Accent Consumer Reviews
Just as expected after 20K miles
No surprises with this Accent. Reliable, economical, rides well. The pluses are the shifter (easy to up or downshift without looking), and the easy audio and temperature controls. Minuses are that another few inches of height would make access easier and the trunk bigger. The cruise control annoyingly down shifts when coasting downhill, so I have to manually lock in 6th gear. I'm getting about 45 mpg winter, 50 mpg summer in combined driving. Beware that the in dash display reads about 10% higher and cannot be recalibrated.

Most underrated car Hyundai sells
I bought my wife's 2018 Accent SE in 2019. It was a rental car with 16,000 miles. I normally wouldn't buy a rental car, but it looked very clean and was only $12,200 out the door. We now have 45,000 trouble free miles on the car, and are about to pay it off. This little car accelerates, handles, and brakes better than any other sub compact at this price point. My 2019 Fiesta ST obviously is better, but it was $20,000 new. I have gotten as much as 43 mpg on trips with the Accent. I wanted a car for my business and considered many different vehicles. The Accent won the decision again. My 2021 Accent SE was $16,150 out the door! You cannot purchase a new car this good for that money anywhere else.

The Accent is on Great Mileage, Reliability, Style
I have 44,000 miles on this 2018 and have not had a single problem. Still original brakes. I'm getting 36 mpg in town, 44 highway. The engineers have tweeked this 1.6 naturally aspirated engine to obtain low end torque so there is decent acceleration from a start. It does run out of steam when pushed and the engine buzzes as a small engine like this can't be expected to do everything. The transmission shifts flawlessly. With the rear seats down, the cargo space is surprisingly good. The handling is much better than expected however the ride while great on a smooth surface, is busy on rough potholed roads. The light color upholstery is two toned and looks richer in my opinion than the more monotone black/grey. For an economy car, this is a great value

Do not Buy this car unless.
If you enjoy getting stuck in wet grass, or enjoy not rolling down your windows because of how cheap the interior components is. Also if you like a laundry list of things that break when its cold.. Liike door handles, cup holders, or interior trimming.
