Hummer H3

One month ownership and Two Thousand miles later. The H3 is very comfortable to drive. It is a little slow off of the line, and on up hill mountain grades. However, it has a smooth ride, and very nimble turn radius. It keeps up with the H2's on off road courses, or even performs better due to its smaller size. It fits nicely in parking spots as its size is smaller than a van. I have averaged 17.2 miles per gallon using 89 octane rating or premium although the H3 is designed for regular unleaded. The interior is very nice. It could use some dry cleaning hooks and a change cubby. You can't be collectic with this vehicle. It feels rugged, powerful and fun to drive.

I recently bought the H3 as a second vehicle for my family. I was originally not impressed with the gas mileage 13 mpg around town using a light foot. The beginning of the second month the transmission locked up and would not shift out of first gear. Two weeks later the engine light showed its true colors and would not turn off. The dealership allegedly fixed the problem by replacing a sensor. The temporary fix lasted about 3 miles from the dealer before the engine light reappeared. The H3 was immediately taken back to the dealer who informed us the cylinder head had to be replaced. Despite the problems we love the H3.

2006 Green H3 Hummer

The H3 is a blast to drive, especially off-road. I've driven it through 2 feet of water and mud and it just kept on chugging. The engine could use a little more power but it is adequate for the H3. The turning radius is unbelievable. The interior is fantastic with plenty of room. The drivers view is excellent. The sunroof is extremely large. The H3 can be a little tricky to get in and out of due to its height so a step-up bar may be necessary. Overall, definitely a 10. Hummer has a winner on its hands.

I've had the H3 for a few months now and just love it. Mine is bright yellow which I think is a fantastic color. I read a lot of reviews criticizing its engine so I was really expecting a lot of lag when I first test drove it. Unless you drive on hilly roads regularly, I feel the engine is more than adequate. You're not going to win any races but its an SUV not a sports car. Have gotten a lot of compliments and it's not like it just came out.

I purchased a 2006 Hummer H3 with 80,000 miles on it. Although the mileage was high, I had confidence in it after reading the reviews. It came with DVD player and sidestep rails. Just the base package. I didn't really want all the bells and whistles because my theory is, the more that you have, the more that can go wrong. I'm a 5'7" female and I have plenty of room. I heard about the blind spots but I don't have any problems with that. The best thing is, even though this is a 2006, you can't tell. People love it and want it.
