Used 2013 Honda Fit 4dr Hatchback (1.5L 4cyl 5M) Consumer Reviews
Traded it for bigger vehicle
Was way too small for us so I dumped it and bought a van. Not saying that it wasn’t roomy for its size. It was a manual transmission car like I prefer. I’m glad it’s gone because illnesses has made it difficult to drive a stick anyway. Got rid of it so no more review updates for me

NOT fun to drive
I read lots of reviews saying it's fun to drive. Reality check: It's not. Mine just lagged off the line with the manual tranny. I wanted to have spirited acceleration, but this 1.5 L engine has no power at low revs: thats how they say it has great gas mileage: no power means low gas consumption You need to rev the engine to get power. It has spongy suspension and leans heavily in turns. It has no tech features. No bluetooth, no phone connection other that usb for charging. It does have good cargo room, though. Big bonus. I got rid of it after three years because other competitors have more options. I just bought a Chevy Spark EV for a change. I didn't like the way the dealer said that 2013 was such a good design, they decided not to make any changes for 2014. I didn't like the way the dealer handled my purchase.

Great economy car. One of our best decisions.
The 2013 Honda Fit was intended as a solid no frills car. Its price at that time was about $15K out the door. That's right ! ! ! It was also intended as a light weight tow vehicle for our RV. For that, the manual transmission was perfect. Fuel economy (mpg) has always hovered in the high 30's, even low 40's on occasional trips. Repairs in the 9 years we have owned the car are essentially NON EXISTENT. It has been noisier and less comfortable than other cars we have owned, or could have selected. But that is consistent with no frills, low cost transportation. If it hadn't gone out of production, I would buy again in a heartbeat !

Love my little Honda fit
I love my Honda Fit.It's a practical little car. I have the problem.Replace the water pump, but otherwise from that if tdealership had no b******Dealership hadn't a blow my motor I wouldn't really feel good about it. Every time I need an oil change, the car starts to jerk. The car hasn't been the same since the dealership blew my motor although they did replace it but I think it's a garbage motor.
