Short Term Impressions

I've had the car for about two weeks, but so far it has met or exceeded all expectations. It is very peppy around town, and has no problem on the interstate. I am a large man (300+ lbs) and feel very comfortable driving this vehicle, the rear seat roominess is truly outstanding. As I said I am large, but my friend "Bob" is truly enormous at 6'6" and over 425 lbs. And even he has no difficulty riding in the front passenger seat. Yes it is that roomy.

Only filled it one time. Not too thrilled with gas mileage. Seems well thought out. Hauled 22 folding chairs, two folding tables, two folding canopies, and 4 lawn chairs and still had room for more!

Never thought I would own one of these things, but when they became available with the body colored panels I just could not resist. Not only was I impressed with the look of the Element, but I was blown away by the amount of room in it. It is a great car to own if you have kids because not only can you wash the floors, but the back seats are far enough back that they can't kick the front seats. If you are skeptical about this car please go look at one at your local dealership and you will fall in love. My wife even fell in love with it after she cursed me out all the way to the dealership.

Good truck-van-SUV

I got a great deal. This is really multipurpose. I thought it was somewhat homely but it's grown on me quickly. The AWD does great in the snow. I was actually shocked how well the AWD worked. The OEM top of the line stereo is typical blah but other than that this is one heck of a SUV, truck, van or car LOL for the money!

Perfect for Alaskan roads. Good for carrying dirty hunting dogs and all necessary equipment.
