Good Car
I'm well satified with this car, my first foreign model. The mileage is better than advertised. We drove across the country, 1800 miles and got generally 31 mpg. The pickup is adequate for a 4 cyl. but still would like more hp. I traded in a 275 hp Eldorado on this conservative car so the lack of oomph is obvious. All the standard features are nice, but now I wish I would have gotten the nav. system with all the other upgrades.
So far its great!!
I replaced my Subaru Outback with the Honda because I wanted more interior room but wanted to maintain good gas mileage. I was concerned about how the Honda would handle in bad weather (the Subaru was excellent). I have to say I have been pleasantly surprised. The Honda is very surefooted in the worst of weather. The interior is very roomy and the car is beautiful to look at. Overall, I am very pleased.

I love this car!
Living in Wisconsin, I wanted to trade in my Honda Civic for an all-wheel drive sedan. I test drove several, and only decided to try out the CR-V after seeing an ad online. I never intended on being such a loyal Honda owner, but once I test drove this car, I fell in love! Even though it's an SUV, it didn't take much to get used to driving. Within the first week of owning, the TPMS light went on, and my Honda service dept. got me in right away to replace one of the sensors. I didn't think the TPMS was even a necessary extra, but sure enough, it lit up when the temps dropped and Honda checked my tires and filled me up for free. I haven't had a single problem since then.
Great Car!
I bought this car in 2007 and I've gotten nothing but compliments on the design. Smooth ride but weak power on acceleration/. My car mileage on highways is typically 28.1 mpg and 27.8 on city roads (based on 87 octane). Seats could be more comfortable as they are a bit stiff, esp for long distance driving. Love how the back door opens up, not sideways, like the RAV4. One of my complaints is that I have to turn off my front lights manually--does not turn off with the engine. Also when you drop anything between the 2 front seats-around the console, it's extremely difficult to find/retrieve whatever you dropped. Overall, it's a great-looking car with good gas mileage.
Not crazy about CR-V
Both my wife and I are not thrilled with our CR-V. Mileage is poor 23 on highway or around town, seats not all that comfortable. Very uncomfortable on long trips, black stickers on door pillars peeling-rear differential was howling and had to have fluid changed (on going Honda problem) tires almost at wear indicators with 20,000 miles- we have had regular maintenance. Honestly we are considering getting rid of it and replacing with a RAV 4.
