Great Vehicle
I love my CRV. Every time I turn my key, I know the car will start. Bought the car at 40000mi, now has 100000mi. Not one problem since I owned it (hope I don't jinx it now). A great value. Typical Honda reliability/fuel economy. Highly recommend w/o hesitation.
Not a luxury car but won't let you down
I bought my 2001 CR-V with 180k miles on it, I've driven it to 250k miles. It's a very reliable car and is still running perfectly. As with any older car, I've had to keep up with maintenance and a few minor repairs, but I've never had an issue with the engine or transmission or anything major. Here are the downsides of this car: it struggles climbing hills because the engine lacks power, and the car is poorly insulated so there can be a lot of road noise. Those are the only downsides I can think of. I've been on lots of long road trips in this car, gone camping, and done tons of commuting on highways as well as country roads. It's great for it all. On my commute I typically get 24-25 mpg.

A great car for getting around close to home.
I love my car
I bought a 2001 CRV-EX well below invoice in October. This is my first car and this has certainly set the bar high for all to follow. Surprisingly comfortable for a small SUV. Honda has done a great job distributing space. Fun to drive, I use it only in the city and on highways. My only minor complaint is that the engine is a little noisy once you go above 40mph. The title of this review says it all. Thanks Honda.
How could the maker of Accura have made this thing?
Recently purchased in perfect condition, with only 39k miles, for it's reliability. Should have spent more time with it before making the decision. The more I drive it, the more I dislike it. The ride is awful. Its harsh. It pitches, bobs, darts...its tiring to drive. Had the struts checked, they're fine. The seats are poorly bolstered. Controls are wanky. Can't get into the tailgate without a key. Less room than you might think. Noisy. Apparently designed to look "correct"... and that's all. Switching from Subaru Outback to this thing is a disaster. I want to replace it with a Volvo or Mazda 6 wagon. Just as much room, and a way better drive. Don't care about a couple of MPG at this point!
