Better than Expected!
I went from an Accord EX-L to my CR-V Hybrid Touring. The amenities are essentially the same so I am not “missing” anything. I researched Lexus NX350h (new for 2022) and where CR-V tops out in price and Lexus begins, the CR-V has MUCH more to offer. Yes, Lexus does add their “Safety 3.0” and that does offer better safety but Lexus IS all-new for 2022 and the CR-V is in its fifth year with this model year so not a fair comparison. What is a fair comparison is features like REAL leather in the CR-V and plastic (PU) in the NX. Better mileage and more room in the CR-V. I have owned my CR-V seven months and put almost 11,000 miles on it and have gone on some road trips. Let me tell you, the ride is quiet, smooth, and very enjoyable. The seats are very comfortable! The adaptive cruise control (ACC) and lane keep assist (LKAS) make it very easy to ride (yes, ride and not drive) in this car. Sure, I’m driving but the car brakes for me when I approach the car in front of me and resumes speed when the safe distance is resumed (four modes to select from). The LKAS actually steers the car for me (not make a turn). Makes driving long distances very easy! Let’s talk mileage. My overall MPG average since I left the dealership with .2 miles is 40.5!! I have not reset my Trip B odometer and mileage so that is my actual reading. I consistently average 41.7 MPG each week. You might ask then why is your overall mileage lower? Well, because I live in AZ and when I go on road trips I go north to the mountains and climbing up mountains takes a bit more gas but I still got 35 MPGs average on my 470 mile weekend trip! So read all the reviews of those who don’t have good to say about the CR-V and know that it’s probably their aggressive driving habits that cause them to be disappointed that their CR-V missed the mark or not what they expected. Remember, it’s an SUV and not a racing performance car so if one is aggressive with the gas pedal, it does not matter if the car is a hybrid, the mileage will suffer! And lastly, to the Pompano Beach, FL person who is disappointed that the seats are not cooled and gave the CR-V only 2 stars, how ridiculous of them! Why is it Honda‘s fault that the seats are not cooled and not their fault for making sure before making the car purchase? A review of the car should be about the car and NOT one’s lack of due diligence to make an informed purchase!!

Smooth, quiet, super comfortable
This vehicle handles like a dream. The acceleration is impressive, and the transition from electric is barely noticeable. While the practical safety features give peace of mind, the interior, from the steering wheel to the dashboard to the seats, feels surprisingly like a luxury model.

The Touring has it all
Great luxury features (love the seat warmers and steering wheel warmer, auto headlights and auto windshield wipers). Having a hybrid is super. But the real world mileage does not meet the manufacturer’s claims, and EV mode is not very useful in practice. Nonetheless, my CR-V hybrid does a lot better mileage wise than my last SUV. And I’ve read car site expert reviews knocking the dash display, but I think it’s fine and don’t have any of the problems the experts cited. I definitely recommend this car.

Surprisingly quiet
Just purchased a new 2022 cr-v hybrid suv, the touring model. First off, it is to my wife and I, a luxury vehicle. Yes I know that this is not a luxury car, but to us it very nice. Great features, but the thing that has to take time is how quiet it is. When you start the car, no engine noise, just a warning on the dash that says, “ car is ready to drive. “ Plenty of space and features. With gas prices going up, this car says 600-700 miles. range.

Adulthood with all the bells and whistles
It was time; I'm approaching middle age, have a big dog and parent who uses a walker. My beloved 2 door VW GTI with manual trans wasn't cutting it anymore. I also needed to get a little better fuel economy. I was hoping to get an Electric vehicle but with high costs and limited availability it wasn't in the cards yet. The CR-V Hybrid ticks a lot of boxes. It doesn't do anything exceptionally well, but it's pretty OK at a whole lot of things in one cost effective package. I like the comfortable leather seats (although the seat depth is a bit short for my long thighs), the interior ergonomics are great, and the in-car electronics are fairly intuitive to use. The adaptive cruise control, and lane following assistance are a nice feature for long freeway trips. The blindspot detection is a very welcome enhancement when backing out of my driveway on a very busy street. Also my dog loves the power tailgate, and I love the regenerative braking control paddles. Some of the cons: This is not quite the solid Honda build quality that I'm used to from 40 something years of being in a Honda/Acura family, but it's not bad. Everybody and their mother has a CR-V so finding yours in a big parking lot can be an issue. Some people complain about the fuel economy and I agree that it would be nice if the 40/38/35mpg EPA fuel economy ratings were achievable anywhere besides flat land at less that 55mph. I live in a hilly coastal area of California and I'm getting about 35.5mpg in mostly city driving with hills, and I got about 31mpg driving to Las Vegas. I think that's reasonable for a roomy mechanical 4wheel drive SUV that comfortably carries 5 people and two weeks worth of groceries on 87 gasoline. I can't really think of another vehicle with all those capabilities that gets better fuel economy on gas.

Excellent Value
Test drive it before you buy! It's our first Hybrid, but due to an accident, limited replacement vehicle inventory and having previously owned two CRV's (2010 & 2017) we purchased sight unseen. Overall very impressed with the SUV, but it's does make some unusual noises which gets some time to get used to. One kids says it sounds like a spaceship and can hear it a block away. Excellent tech, upgraded interior layout/function and quality standard safety features. Vehicle setup and manual can be a bit daunting if you have never had a Honda before, but once you play around with the features and setup you'll be happy. The SUV feels solid and substantial with an excellent build quality (Assembled in Ohio with 50% US sourced parts). Some exterior plastic trim seems flimsy, but that is common at this price level. Hopefully fuel savings will justify the added cost and battery performance is long lasting.

A great small suv
We have been driving this Honda CRV for 2+ years. Our overall gas mileage is averaging 38-40 mpg, above what we expected. The car is very quiet , comfortable, with good visibility, and rides well. The pedestrian warning sound (speed below about 20 mph) sounds like a spaceship, and we have grown accustomed to this sound. There is enough of cargo room for carrying groceries, etc, and larger items if the back seats are laid flat. The Touring model comes loaded with all kinds of safety features and which takes some time to get used to. This is a small SUV and may not work for a larger family, but it works well for. us. We are very pleased with the gas mileage, driving experience, and overall comfort.

Balanced
Nice blend of price, looks, fuel economy, comfort. They seemed to have fixed the noisy engine that I noticed from the 2021 model.
not the gas mileage i expected
i bought the crv awd hybrid touring for the gas mileage april 2021 and have been immensely disappointed. i drive 47 miles to work and my per tank mileage averages between 29-33 miles per gallon. hardly worth the additional cost of the hybrid engine. it seems the battery pack in the crv is too small to really support highway miles. the gas tank is NOT 14 gallons as advertised but 12 which means i average 365 miles per tank. not at all where i thought i would be. the lane keep assist weaves back and forth. the Apple Carplay arbitrarily disconnects and wont reconnect unless i run through the set up process all over again. the ride right s nice, the awd works great in rain and snow and i feel confident that car will not loose traction.

Absolutely Loving This Move to Hybrid
This is my first hybrid vehicle. Coming to it from an eleven year old car that didn’t have AC or cruise control and the ‘22 Hybrid Touring is a dream so far to have. An unexpected and incredibly impactful benefit is the change to my driving style. I love new technology. Just didn’t have it in my car for many reasons. Utilizing the technology to generate charging power had made made me an incredibly more alert driver. And I’m having fun with it boot. A very welcome plus!

No Tow, No Go
The CR-V is an excellent car; however, the hybrid version is not rated to tow. So for me, this was a deal breaker as I occasionally like to tow a small utility trailer. Too bad.

First hybrid vehicle and it amazes me
I got this before the price of gas skyrocketed and so glad I did! I regularly get more than posted mpg. I have even been able to achieve 50mpg in town! It’s the right size for a bigger guy like me (6’2”) and has plenty of legroom in every seat. The power tailgate is very helpful when you’re carrying things. Even the audio system is above average and integrates well with Apple CarPlay. The seats are fairly supportive and easy to adjust to the correct position; the sunroof is extra large and compliments the interior. Not easy to acquire these days but I was able to find a dealer who was receiving regular shipments and would sell for just msrp. Could this be the first car I keep beyond the factory warranty period? Well done Honda!

My all time favorite..second time around!!!
I liked the 2021 enough that Im buying a 2022..both EXL. I love how they ride, smooooooooth. (But not as nice a ride as my old Buick, but that is just not possible nowadays.). Its quiet, performs well. Amazing comfort. As far as the fuel economy, I get the EPA average...sometimes better, sometimes not quite as well, but it averages out. I love the LED headlights..its almost like driving in the day time, as you can see a swath 100 feet wide, so you dont run over deer or other animals. It feels very safe. The blind spot monitor, keeps you from hitting cars hidden in your blind spot, and I love the adaptive cruise control as it makes this both easy and safe to drive. As far as the "no spare tire issue: Do you have a spare battery or a spare starter motor in your car? Probably not. And, this car has no starter motor, and it does have 2 batteries..one for startup, another for the electric motors. Given this car has no alternator, no starter, and the brakes last much longer, I estimate that the no spare will "not" mean you are stranded more than average in this car. I have never been stranded in my Honda. It just always works. Dont overthink the spare tire, your wife probably would not know how to change the tire even if it had one. SAFETY is the biggest reason I bought this car, followed by comfort, and great gas mileage. It being quiet, and lots of room for cargo is a bonus.

Love My CRV Touring Hybrid
Comfortable & reliable! Handles well in town and on the highway. Averaged 38.8 MPG on a 1200 mile trip. Love the safety and tech features - they are all responsive and intuitive. There is nothing I don’t like about it - what’s not to like?

2022 Hybrid Touring Honda CR-V
The safety features are wonderful. The LED lights improve driving outside the city and in the suburbs. The car is extremely comfortable. The salesman at the Honda of New Rochelle conveniently held back information about the new Federal law which requires hybrid cars to make a distinguished sound while driving under 25 miles per hour. This is for pedestrian walkers who are hard of hearing since hybrid engines are quiet. The noise is extremely annoying on local streets and traffic.

Great SUV but not so true about Gas mileage
I have been driving my 2022 Honda CR-v EX-L hybrid for over a month. Its drive nice with really awesome safety features like Blind Spot Information (BSI) System Blind Spot , VSA, ESC, ABS And Driveline, Traction Control, Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) w/Road Departure Mitigation (RDM) Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) w/Road Departure Mitigation (RDM) Lane Departure Warning, Collision Mitigation-Front…. They have more so the things I do not like is the backup camera is not very clear, 7” display touch screen is outdated and main complain is for Hybrid is definitely not impressive I only get 26.7 mile per gallon.

CRV-Hybrid with a light foot
My wife and I have had 3 Honda CRV's. The latest a 2022 Hybrid. So we like everything about them. But our "real world" mileage has been significantly better than Edmunds. For the 7500 miles we have "made" 39.8 mpg mostly city driving with occasional short trips. I admit to watching the acceleration/mileage bar for smooth starts and I try to avoid complete stops. The car has a sport mode when a particularly short freeway entrance ramp requires hard acceleration. Oh, of course we are happly with the all wheel drive living in Minnesota. Overall we cannot complain, they (CRV's) are great cars for us.

Love this Ride!
I love my new Honda CRV Hybrid Touring. The 19 inch wheels give it a little extra height. I really like the cabin look and layout. I got the roof storage crossbars, running boards and mud flaps for my off road needs. They also add a more "sporty" look to the luxury and comfort of the Touring model.

NO SPARE TIRE!!!
2022 Honda CRV Hybrid does not come with a spare tire, only an inflation kit. I bought this vehicle to go on extended trips. After one month of ownership I traded because of the no spare tire issue. What do you do if you are out in the middle of the desert and the cause of the flat is in the sidewall? Inflation kit does you no good. I would rather sacrifice 2 MPG and have a spare tire. Honda really needs to rethink this idea.

Hybrid Touring is an expensive step down.
Despite what other customers write, the hybrid model does not "have it all" even at the highest trim level. It does not even have options available on Hyundai models that are several years older. This was the most expensive purchasing mistake of my life. Both the sales rep and the sales manager at Hendrick Honda in Pompano Beach led me to believe that the most expensive, highest trim level of the 2022 Honda CR-V Hybrid Touring SUV would have ventilated (cooled) seats. I live in south Florida, and I explained to everyone with whom I talked at the dealership that I had to have ventilated seats and a hybrid power train. After I took the vehicle home, I called back to ask how to activate the ventilated seats. After a brief conversation, the sales rep said he would call me soon with an answer. A few hours later I received a text message stating that the hybrid does not have ventilated seats. I told the sales rep that I wanted to return the CR-V and get my 2015 Hyundai Sonata back, as it had ventilated seats and I did not want a 2022 that did not have the features of a seven year old vehicle. For nine days all I have heard from the dealership is that they are still waiting for Honda to tell them if they can retrofit ventilated seats on the hybrid. Actually, they are waiting for me to leave them alone. I bought this SUV for my wife who really wanted a subcompact SUV. I persuaded her to accept a larger SUV because the subcompact SUVs don't have ventilated seats. Now she has neither the subcompact nor the ventilated seats. As a "bonus" I found that this top trim level CR-V does not have a height adjustment on the front passenger seat as my seven year old Hyundai Sonata had. When I drive, my wife cannot see the road ahead through the front windshield. She needs to sit on a cushion, but we are afraid of the consequences if the front air bag deploys. I will save ahead and look for another make and model SUV. When I find something better, and I find a dealership that actually understands its product line, I will sell this CR-V to Carvana and test, test, test the new vehicle and I won't take the dealer's word for any features. Also I probably will lease rather than purchase. Also, the front passenger seat has limited power adjustments; for example, the seat cannot be adjusted up and down either manually or electronically so it remains at the lowest position. My wife can hardly see over the hood.

Love this vehicle!
Our 2022 CR-V Hybrid EX-L replaced a 2007 Pilot EX-L, and I couldn't be happier. The car feels really solid, Honda quality is apparent and does not disappoint. The hybrid power is surprisingly fun to drive (very torquey), and yes, Sport mode does make a difference (you can actually feel the difference in throttle responsiveness across the three settings - Econ, regular mode, and Sport). And yes, Sport mode or leadfoot driving in general impacts gas mileage, because of course it does! The EV mode isn't really practical, but I do use it sometimes in local village traffic when there's enough braking to keep it charged up. I wouldn't recommend this car to somebody who really wants an EV, though. But I did discover that you can drive it in Sport mode, with a regen paddle setting to 2 or 3, and it charges up quicker than normal (since you don't have to keep paddling the regen every time you press the throttle then brake again), so you can actually drive it in 'Sport EV' mode. I did a lot of research before buying but nobody pointed out this little quirk (in a good way) of the system. You will see a drop in average gas mileage during the winter if like me you're in the Northeast where they have winter blend gas, but that's across the board anyway, not specific to hybrids or what-not. Glad we grabbed this vehicle when we could. Feels really solid, and it's fun to drive, even for a 'non-luxury SUV'. I can fit my full drum kit etc in there (it's only slightly smaller, with seats down, than the Pilot was). My wife gets car sick easily and this car doesn't do it to her. Good gas mileage even if not hitting the EPA-touted averages. And the darker blue color? [chef's kiss] :)

some of the major issue
= Auto Emergency breaks- sometimes auto application of breaks with no any objection. = Noisy- It sounds like a spaceship and can hear a block away. = Electric battery- never full charged even drive 100 miles continue. = mileage - never meet the manufacture's claims, way low than website/paper describes.

Want an amazing SUV & great gas mileage?
My 2022 Honda CR-V Touring Hybrid is hands down the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. The electric motor really gets up and goes and my mileage has been 36-40 mpg. Awesome stereo, comfortable heated seats and steering wheel, excellent back up camera: it’s got it all. Plenty of room for suitcases, cooler and more, and fun to drive. It did take awhile to get it in December 2021 but it was worth the wait.

This car is worth the money
I have only driven it 300 miles and the car had 23,000 miles at purchase. It has a very smooth and quiet ride, compared to the 2015 HOMDA CRV IT REPLACED. The gas mileage is more 2x what I was getting around town. The ECVT transmission is flawless. All things considered the ride, build quality and gas mileage make this car a keeper

Annoyed
Not a gas saver as expected. Poor highway gas performance, and very loud climbing hills. For inner-city ride, it is a comfortable, smooth, and quiet experience. It is not the case in the mountains of Utah where we reside. Climbing the canyon on our regular commute, the Hybrid's performance is a "tense" and uncomfortable ride. The noise of the acceleration while in the mountains, creates an insecure feeling causing the nuisances already mentioned.

A Very Dependable & Trouble Free SUV
We now have 36,000 miles on our 2022 CR-V Hybrid. We consistently get 40-mpg in ECO mode. The CR-V is a daily driver with a mix of city and highway driving. Visibility is excellent out of the front and rear windows. The Honda safety features work flawlessly and the blind spot detection, which lights up in the side view mirrors is my favorite feature. We added Honda cross bars to the roof rack, which we use to transport a kayak to a nearby lake. Front seat comfort and roominess is quite good. The car has been super reliable and we have it serviced per Honda’s recommended maintenance schedule. The only large expense has been four new tires during the last three years. We have AWD which works fine in light snow.

Not quite what I was after
vehicle rode smoothly and handled well. On hard acceleration at lower speed the main drive electric motor sounded like it was being strangled. I have to question the drive assembly with a lack of transmission. All gear drive, AWD Noticed that Honda has changed their drive train for the 2024 CRV. Could not get confirmation about class 3 trailer hitch mounting on Hybrid for off road E-bike rack. Would add 250# to frame.
It's OK but
I purchased the 2022 Honda CR-V Hybrid back in September 2021 for $2,000 over list price. I enjoy driving it except it doesn't have a spare tire. If I did my research, I would not buy the car
