Wait, and I say wait because I am experiencing audio issues. Hence this being a new car, I figured issues would be popping up. The center console's bluetooth system fades in and out and the Apple Carplay system does the same. Some days it will connect to my phone and some days it works for a few minutes and says "no device connected." Aside from the audio issues, car is great on gas and is understandably one of the top ranked vehicles in its class after looking into the Mazda 3 and Toyota Corolla. EDITS: After have driven the car for 4,000 miles now, the center console still has its issues here and there. Do I suggest waiting still? That is completely up to you, and comparing other cars on the market, the Civic is on the higher end. If you are still on the market, the Civic LX, base model, has most bells and whistles most cars on the market have. Granted, the turbo in the CVT gives the Civic that extra push that most of the other cars DON'T have. Consider the Mazda 3 and Toyota Corolla both of which have less HP and both are CVT's.

Drove from Las Vegas to Lake Tahoe (450 miles one-way, mostly two lane highway) and got just over 45 MPG each way driving in Economy mode mostly at 72 MPH. When I needed to pass trucks, campers, etc. I'd just switch the Econ mode off, make my pass utilizing the oomph of the turbo, and then put the Econ mode back on. Front seats are low but very comfortable. Trunk is cave-like. It took Honda forever to have auto -on headlights - they still lag behind with no universal garage door opener.

Bumper is melting

My front, rear bumpers and rear view mirrors are melting from the sun. Honda told me not to park next to windows and will not pay for the damage. The Corporate office said they will not help.

Great car! Seats 4 comfortably. Moonroof is a nice perk. Sirius XM is great! Clean lines, comfortable for average size persons, handles well. Minimal maintenance or repair in 4 years.

This is the best civic ever made. Well designed, roomy, powerful, very responsive to steering. The car feels like hugging the road. I love the CarPlay; my map application shows on the screen as if you have a navigation system built into the car. The turbo engine is a little noisy, but I love the sound when l step on the gas pedal and the turbo kicks in. The only option I got is the side molding for the doors to minimize the dents caused by cars parked next to you. Well done Honda!!!
