The Honda Civic Hybrid is Comfortable bu maintains a sporty feel. The fuel mpg was only 36.6 while breaking in but into a head wind for 330 miles the mpg was 46.6 and returning home for the same didtance with no wind either way the mpg jumped to 50.3. And here's the best part, the manual Hybrid was $20350 vs the prius @ 23400 for the same features. A no brainer cuzz the $3000 will pay for the gas for the life of the car. Am I happy I bought it? You BET. I got mine.

350K + and Still going!

I purchased my manual Civic in 2007 for about $7500. It has been a solid, reliable car ever since. At about 200K, the IMA came on, and I did the research and purchased a rebuilt battery bank for about $1900 with a core return. It was very easy to replace, and now we have over 350K on it. It still gets 40+ mpg, and I plan to drive it for a million miles. Sure, it’s a dog when it comes to acceleration, but once you get to speed, the cruise control does the rest.
