I love my Civic Hybrid. I am getting 47 MPG in mostly city driving. I commute about 20 minutes one way, all city streets, and it does great. Had it in Texas over the Holidays and it started without a problem at 15 degrees F, completely ignoring the cold. Good lights, great seats (easy to clean), good low end torque (can squeal the tires at startup). All in all, the Hybrid does everything any other Civic can do, just better (except for hot rodding.)

An awesome Honda that combines 4 door, multi person capability with totally awesome mpg with the 5 speed. Mine has over 80 K miles and I frequently get 80 + mpg on hiwy with cautious speeds (not exceed limit of 55). Special driving techniques also gives 60++ mpg suburban driving ! Easily goes over 800 miles per tankful on regular gas.

I love only having to fill my tank once every week and a half to two weeks! It has more power to it than my last Honda!

There are already a lot of reviews, which I read before I bought this car. I'm getting just over 40 mpg. This is less than the posted city/hwy, but I knew it would be going in. If you read more about the car, and hybrid technology, you'll find that as far as the environment's concerned, you are getting 46-51 mpg, with lower emissions. The car handles great, and I expect it will just about last forever (as most Hondas do).

Bought the Civic Hybrid for daily commute (150 mi/day). Very satisfied during first 6 weeks of ownership. Combined mileage (interstate and urban gridlock) is 48 mpg; highway mpg at 53. Very good low-end torque (I haven't stalled it yet); generally a quiet comfortable ride, but pretty noisey when spashing through pools of water. I highly recommend the Honda Civic Hybrid for long commutes.
