Used 2014 Honda Accord EX 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl CVT) Consumer Reviews
Awesome and Amazing car -- Its a HONDA !!!!!
Excellent car... like all my previous Honda's. I have driven nothing but Honda Accords for over 35 years ------ Every single one has been excellent. Only traded in for a newer model... no other reason. In fact, one of my Honda Accords went 1.000,000 miles !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PERFECT CARS !!!!!!!!!!!!

Terrible Audio
This Honda Accord has a terrible audio system. It is junk. I did not realize how bad it was or else I would not have purchased the vehicle. I commute 90 minutes each day and the audio is important. The radio had excess static . There is no subwoofer. The speakers are tinny, muffled. When the sunroof is open and driving on the highway, I can't hear the sound! I don't understand why Honda would not offer a better system in such an expensive car without having to buy leather options. I would like Honda to offer a remedy to this problem in my current vehicle. If not, I will not buy another Honda again. (I had been a Toyota owner for 20 YEARS! Unfortunately, it may be my last.

Ticking noise is driving me crazy!...still!
Have taken the car in at least 9 times (I stopped counting) for interior noises...in the dashboard, in the doors, in the glovebox. I now have to ride around with the glovebox open...that the only way to stop the ticking sound. Service dept can never replicate the noise so I'm stuck. Glovebox door closed - ticking sound; glovebox door open - ticking sound. You would think they could figure it out, but they can't. I plan to have them remove glovebox door and I'll try to fix on my own. Very nice car otherwise...but that's what I get for switching from Toyota. You spend $25000 on a car and have to drive around with glovebox open... Only 11000 miles at 14 months...because I hate to drive it. Feb 2016 update: the glovebox ticking noise is getting worse. Since the Honda dealership technicians (and service mgr.) claim they cannot hear the noise, there's no way they can fix it. They're very nice about it though. I've actually told them to remove the glove box door, but that seems to open up another can of worms. I think I'll end up going to an independent repair shop and have them remove the door...it's either that or I'll just have to drive around with an open glove box for the next three years. This is depressing... February 2017 update: Car is fine....EXCEPT for the glove box noise. Only maintenance to date has been four oil changes with tire rotations. Air (engine and cabin) filters changed once. I would really be pleased if I could resolve the rattling noise issue. Guess I should have expected this level of quality in a $25,000 vehicle. February 2018 update: Beginning to appreciate this vehicle on road trips. Two trips from Houston to Colorado...comfortable ride, road noise ain't too bad, excellent gas mileage, adequate power. And still totally adequate as a daily driver around town. Will get fluids changed (oil, brake, transmission, coolant) soon. Touch open button for trunk doesn't work...but other than that the vehicle is in excellent condition. Tires approaching 60,000 miles and still have decent treads. Still love the blindspot camera. Still believe this is an exceptional value for $24,000. Excellent basic, all-purpose vehicle.
