2014 EX - rattling sounds are driving me crazy!

The vehicle is about 5 months old with a little over 4000 miles. About to take it back for the 4th time for rattling/ticking noises in the cabin. Dealer has looked at the dashboard, passenger door, center console. Now the glove box door is making a ticking noise. The night shift must've assembled this vehicle. Drivetrain works well, and love the passenger side camera. About what I'd expect from a $24,000 car....except for the ticking noise. Went from a 2000 Toyota Avalon to the 2014 Accord. The Avalon, with 232,000 miles, was quieter than this vehicle. Prefer driving my daughter's 2006 Mazda so that I can avoid the ticking noise in the Accord. Ticking noise is definitely coming fftrom the glove box door. I leave the door open and the noise goes away. Still very irritating. Gonna figure out how to take the door off myself. So disappointed. But other than that it's a pretty decent car. Should have stuck with Toyota though. Oct2017 update: Wish acceleration was a little more robust. Other than that (and the rattling glovebox) this vehicle is an exceptional value. I probably need the V6 version. Would probably buy again and hope for a vehicle that doesn't rattle.

Buyer beware: The uncomfortable driver's seat should be recalled!!!

I test drove my new Accord for a few miles and everything felt fine. I immediately felt lower back pain when driving the car home from the dealer. After making daily adjustments to the seat, and trying different seat cushions and lumbar supports, I came to the disappointing conclusion I'll never be able to comfortably drive this car. The driver's seat should be recalled to address the following issues: 1. The metal plate in the lower seat back stabs into my back causing debilitating pain after a 15 minute ride. 2. The active head restraints lean too far forward causing severe discomfort on my neck and back. 3. The seats are far too firm, like sitting on cinder blocks.

First Car Review EVER! 2014 Accord Coupe EX-L V6

Coming from a Nissan Xterra to an Accord coupe took some getting used to but I'm glad I went with my decision. I was looking for something that would save gas, be reliable and have some pep out the gate. By no means is it a real sports car, but it has enough in there to get around traffic. As far as reliability, I only have 6 thousand + miles on it, so far so good. Only time will tell how reliable it will be. Gas savings is as advertised. I'm averaging 24mpg combined. No ECON button on and doing 80% city with 20% hwy. I do love the road trips though, I get around 36mpg. Overall, I'm satisfied except for the radio. That needs some improvement.

The ride is a bit stiff. Overall very dependable. I particularly noticed that this car felt solid and has remained so even after 50k miles, unlike most competitive vehicles (I have rented other cars for my work).

After going through hell with an old German car, I decided to get a new car. This one was it. I drive approximately 30-50 Thousand miles a year so long term reliability was my key. You cannot go wrong with this car. So far so good. I already have almost 3,000 miles. With the exception of the ride quality my suggested improvements are few.
