Great car. Terrible seats.
Bought the Sport model because I loooove the look of the 18" wheels and tires. 10 minute test drive went okay. Didn't notice until I drove 30 minutes to work that the seats are terrible! There's not enough padding in the backrest and the head rest/restraints push your head too far forward. After 20 minutes my neck and back were killing me. Almost like the seats are trying to push you into the fetal position. I looove everything about the car except those da#mn seats. I heartbroken that I love the car so much but don't enjoy driving it because of the uncomfortable seats.
2014 Accord Sport Manual
Love the 6 speed manual transmission on this car... Drove the Mazda 3, Mazda 6 stick shifts and the transmission on this car is what helped me make the decision to go with the Accord. Probably the best manual trans out there. Update after 50k miles: Still Love the stick, no problems to date, only oil changes and tires. Bought a 2016 MX-5 Miata, and the short shifter on the MX-5 is awesome, shifting gears is a pleasure, but it is knotchy at times. The Accord is still smooth and I continue to enjoy it.

My First Luxury Car
I bought an Alabaster Silver with Black Interior Leather 2014 Honda Accord Touring and added these features: remote starter, sports grille, wing spoiler, moonroof visor, door visor, splash guard, body side molding, interior illumination, trunk trays, mats, cargo hook, and door guards. I paid $3500 less than MSRP. Friendly Honda of Poughkeepsie, NY told me that this is the best car they delivered to a customer with all the added accessories. This is my 3rd Honda Accord and this my favorite and most equipped;
Driver's Seat is Torture!
Just search "Honda Accord Uncomfortable Seats" on the internet and you'd be amazed at all the sites and forums that pop up, from the 2008 to the 2015 Accord.To be fair here are the Pros: Looks sharp, runs smooth, has great gas mileage, and I'm sure is super dependable, although I don't plan on owning this car for much longer. I've only had it for 3 months and I'm already looking to trade it in for a Toyota Camry, because.....Cons: Why did Honda think a crappy, easily stained beige interior, and covering the doors with that same crappy cloth interior was a good idea? The placement of the climate control buttons and infotainment isn't laid out intuitively. Make sure you have all your climate settings and radio/cd/ bluetooth all while in park because adjusting the right temperature and/ or defrost can cause a big distraction while driving. The trunk is relatively small for a family of four and the rear seat folds down in one piece, rather than split. Now here are the biggest Cons: The driver's seat: It is so poorly designed, the back and bottom sink in, causing my back to form a "C" shape, and the head restraints force my head too far forward. No, I did not pick up on this discomfort after the 30 minute test drive, or even the few weeks of ownership. But after several weeks up until now, the pain has become unbearable. I can't drive more than 20 minutes before the pain sets in. I've tried almost everything, from ergonomic back and butt cushions, and have even spent over $500 reupholstering the driver's seat and adding foam to the seat and back at a shop, and all that has done was shift the pain from one part of my butt, back, thighs, to other parts. I never knew what "Piriformis Syndrome" was until I owned this car. Look it up. I've owned close to 10 cars in my 28 years of driving, and this Accord is the only car to ever give me back problems. Here is the biggest Con: Honda Corporation and Honda of Morgan Hill in California. After I stated my problems with the seat, all Honda Corporation could tell me was "I'm sorry your feeling this discomfort, but unfortunately, Honda won't do anything about it", and Honda of Morgan Hill, "Why don't you trade the car back to us for something more comfortable?" Seriously, why don't I just crap 2 to 3 thousand dollars out of my butt and hand it to them? That's the loss I'm going to take on a trade in, so I might as well give it to Toyota, or even Hyundai. So all in all, screw you Honda. It's unfortunate that an otherwise great car is ruined by a badly designed driver's seat, a seat that has been a problem since 2008. It's obvious you do not listen to your customers. Once I unload this car, I'm never getting another Honda again.

quality, fun and value
Did extensive review research for a sporty mid-sized sedan for around $25k. 3 made the short list Mazda 6 Touring, Subaru Legacy Sport and Honda Accord Sport. 3 quality cars. Legacy AWD makes it super-handler but less roomy and new model coming next year (worth a serious look i'm sure). Mazda 6 great looking, solid perfromance and excellent quality cabin. Accord Sport just pipped the 6 for it's understated but sporty trim, perfect balance & agility and sport mode gearing. It lacks a few creature comforts but for sheer driving experience and outstanding value it's the winner.
