Long-term Ownership Review
I purchased my CPO Accord Coupe in 2015 with 28k and it now has 116k, so I know this model well. I'll list the pros then the cons of this car from my experience. Most people who buy Accords place value, safety, fuel economy, and reliability as their top priorities when searching for a car and I'm pleased to say this vehicle excels at those criteria. I haven't had a serious problem occur since I've owned it which has been very nice having come from a 15 year old Mercedes S-Class. My favorite aspects about the car is its objectively good looks, the quality of the paint and exterior trim, and the seat comfort (front/back). As for the driving experience, it about what you'd expect in this segment. The 2.4 is quite smooth and as other have said it feels like it makes more power than Honda's stats suggest. The ride is smooth (especially with Michelins) and the steering is nicely weighted for having an electric power steering system; however, if sporty driving dynamics is what you're after, get the manual. The CVT simply doesn't have a nice feel to it and the droning sound it produces from maintaining revs is also less than satisfying. In fairness, my non-car guy friends and family don't notice it. Aside from the CVT I have two other gripes, and they're pretty big ones in my opinion. The first is the interior quality of the Coupe specifically. The back seat area is surrounded by yards of hard black plastic that's reminiscent of a mid-2000's Chrysler product. There's always a rattle coming from back there, if it's not from one spot it's from another, and sometimes its from multiple spots at once. Also, the seats themselves aren't real leather in the Coupe, just a leatherette that poorly simulates real leather. My other gripe is with the brakes. My brake rotors have gone 10,000 miles at most before having to be resurfaced. They warp which causes the brakes to pulsate. I'm not hard on my brakes, so I consider this to be unacceptable. No other car I've had has had this issue. Otherwise I've just had to do normal maintenance. Though not perfect, this is a good car overall that will mostly please anyone looking for a car in this segment. I hope this review helps in your purchase decision. :)

Strut Problem
I had the dealer inspect the car for tire noise at 35000 miles. They inspected the rear struts and determined that the problem was due to tire cupping and not the struts since they show no leakage. I replaced the tires at 41000 miles and the noise problem was solved, at 57000 miles the noise is back. At this time, I had the tires inspected by the tire dealer, and again the tire noise was due to cupping. In my opinion, the rear struts are the problem.

Navigation system is very slow
I noticed the built in navigation system is quite a bit slow compare to the stand-alone unit. The display is confusing when you get to the intersection. Worst is when I got to a stop sign, the display just froze because it needed more time (probably about 10 seconds or more) to figure it out and to update the display. I couldn't just stop there and waited until the display is update. I got lost 3 times in a trip and waste about 15 minutes because I had to turn around. The system is good if you travel in high-ways or big roads, when you got into small roads that is when it got screw-up. Even on the high-way, a few times, the exit display gets update just as you got very close or passed the exit! You don't have time to react. The problem I think is the system is TOO SLOW and perhaps the software needs to be update. The conclusion is this system is unsafe (you need to spend more time to figure thing out or you have to make a quick move to get into the right exit), waste your time and gas because you have to turn around. If I have to give it a grade, it would be between a D and an F

Scary tires
Had to change all 4 tires after only 10m miles due to factory installed low friction tires. No longer safe driving in rain much less in snow. Changed to better quality tire and no longer have traction issues.
2014 Honda Accord (Hematite Green)
I just purchased my first vehicle which is a 2014 Honda Accord LX from AutoNation Honda in Sanford, FL. I love the new body style of the Accord and I knew that was the car of my choice. I wanted leather seats and sun roof but the EXL was a bit too much, so I started looking at the LX. Originally, the LX doesn't come with leather interior or sunroof but Skip helped me get the car of my choice and it was all in my price range. [non-permissible content removed]
