Purchased a 2022 Denali new for traveling and it drives well at highway speeds. Around town I don't enjoy driving it as much. Engine stutters at a stoplight. No reason found and a common complaint. Drivers seat with unusual wear at 20K miles worse than any other leather seat vehicle I have owned in 30 years. GM cannot find the water leak coming from the roof or welds or rails?? No loaner and they have had it twice and declared it fixed. Still leaks. One month so far. Tech worked well at first but now has weird glitches that pop up now telling me something isn't available now (lane keeping etc). Once the engine is shut off then restarted it functions again. Nav has frozen in place during a trip in the same way. I am really disappointed in this vehicle after all the research for a safe large SUV for highway driving and hauling in snow, etc. Prior Ford Expedition was much better. Still trying to get things fixed through GM. Update. Been 6 times to dealer out of service 60-90 days. Dealer can’t find the leak. GMC of no help either. I take it to GM dealer and it sits on the lot. They don’t even look at it anymore. No loaner car available. Definitely Not professional grade. No loaner car available ever at any of these times. Very dissatisfied with GMC. 2 years now of water leaking in to fill cup holders etc. how they can’t find it I really don’t understand. At 30K miles I have traded it and did so with full disclosure. Tried lemon law attorneys who didn’t help. It meets well beyond lemon law regulations. This is the second GMC Yukon I have had issues with. Customer care would tell me they were going to elevate to a manager and instead they gave me a new customer care representative every week it was out of service sitting at the dealer. Two separate dealerships would not help. I looked and was amazed at all the issues on GM vehicles at various websites like carcomplaints.com. Buyer beware.

The battery died after 3 months/2500 miles, but it wasn't obvious that was the problem. IT TOOK GM ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE 2 DAYS AND DOZENS OF PHONE CALLS TO GET IT TOWED TO THE DEALER. THEIR "MIDDLE MAN" IN INDIA AND THE TOW COMPANIES THEY USE ARE HORRIBLE. One tow company "partner" they called twice, hid the key without telling anyone, I had to drive an hour to take a key fob to the vehicle, lied to me repeatedly, and never did tow the car. It's a long ugly story. The US based GM Roadside Assistance people were all very nice, but unable to do better. Afterwards I couldn't tell anybody really cared. The plastic cargo liners on the back of the third seat fell off and wouldn't stay on the third day we had it. Runs good, but not as strong as the '17 Yukon Denali it replaced, with same engine and horsepower. The ride is much better than the '17.

50/50 on the V8, I dislike the fuel management software. GM has bulletin on it but the service tech within the local area blew it off. The vehicle still operates with a rough idle until the vehicle is fully warmed up and driven for 20 minutes. At traffic lights the vehicle will feel like it is about to stall and you can watch the volt meter on the dash spikes and drops as the vehicle tries to not stall. Additionally, when going up inclines you can feel the vehicle shudder, I wish owners could opt for the fuel management to be turned off and run on all eight cylinders all the time. Lastly, I think the dealership would take these concerns more seriously considering it is a $80k vehicle. ***update...after four or five visits and buying my own scan tool, finally diagnosed the issues as a P0300 and two fuel injectors needed replacement*** I have had issues with Google Maps going out while traveling thru the mountains which is not great when you almost miss your exit as the GPS is not working. I am not thrilled with this new direction of Navigation systems that are heavily reliant on having cell phone like reception. The rattles in the dash speaker are bit annoying and yet again the local dealership GM techs cannot diagnose these issue even though you hit a bump in the dealership lot and hear the noise while leaving with paperwork saying not able to duplicate. Therefore, I would say this; its is a good vehicle with a few annoying issues (GM has made a good SUV Trio (Tahoe, Yukon and Escalade)). However, GMC/GM needs to address the dealership service experiences, these are no longer $45k family hauler SUVs.

Disappointing, DO Not Lease or Buy

2023 GMC Yukon AT4 4dr SUV 4WD (5.3L 8cyl 10A)

I leased a 2023 Yukon AT4. With only 3900 miles, the car started rattling. ABS, Traction control, and front impact warning sensor malfunctioned at the same time. I Brought it to the dealership and was told it was a mechanical issue, specifically the engine lifters, which were not available and had to be ordered (which would take over a week). I was told that the car is "perfectly safe" to drive and I could drive it back. Dealership did not have any loaner vehicles. I called GMC to question the validity of safety of the vehicle and why the dealership had no vehicles. I was told that they stood by the dealerships recommendations regarding the status of the vehicle and they had nothing to do with the loaner vehicles. I find that disturbing whereas other vehicle companies have loaner vehicles readily available. I asked if they would reimburse me for a car rental, again I was denied. I questioned the representative if an accident occurred with the vehicle being compromised would they take responsibility? There was no response. We ended the call with the typical pleasantries. My take is for a vehicle that is well over $80,000.00 engine problems should not occur with such low mileage, along with concurrent electrical issues. The company should take responsibility and remedy the inconvenience a leaser undergoes and mediate there interaction with the dealership. When that time of the month comes to take the lease payment from ones account, they are quick to secure there payment. Be aware to anyone looking to lease or purchase an SUV with GMC. You will get the typical " sorry cant do anything, and is there anything else I can help you with today" response. Nevertheless this is the last time I lease a vehicle with GMC.

2022 GMC Yukon SLE 4dr SUV 4WD (5.3L 8cyl 10A)

Have had multiple yukons all of which over 150,000 miles , one to 350,000. Purchased a 2022. No pedal extenders which makes spouse unable to drive, but not even close to bigger issues..SOFTWARE IS A DISASTER! Last night it downloaded new software and wouldn't shut off. Finally stopped or so i thought. This morning, battery dead. Managed to take a jump to get to dealer, but probable replacement necessary. Prior to this, issue with Apple connectivity . Waited awhile before necessary part came in to fix it...another few days. And more. This has been very disappointing. I do NOT trust this BRAND NEW vehicle. Have no doubt there will be more and this will be a continuous issue. As its a work vehicle, it needs to be dependable. Its not . GMC needs to evaluate
