An SUV that's actually fun to drive!

We're new to this vehicle but have owned plenty of prior high end SUVs and this Acadia Denali is one incredible vehicle! Our last vehicle was a 2007 Yukon Denali that we also loved but it's amazing how far GM has come in just 4 years. All the bells and whistles and this thing drives like a car. Great engine in that V6 too with plenty of power and pulls all the way to our 70 MPH speed limits with ease.

I loved my Acadia the first week. I purchased a brand new and by the 2nd week it was in the repair shop. Car would not start. Towed it to dealership and upon return on my vehicle, there was a huge dent near gas tank. Never fixed to this date because the "dent" guy could not repair due to location near fuel tank. I do drive a lot; however, I did not purchase the car not to be driven. So after years rolled along, the check engine light came on. Dealership repairs over $2800 to replace catelic converters (2 in this vehicle) plus tune up and oil change. Now check engine comes on & off randomly. I took it back to the dealership, they say rod knock and i need a new engine! I dont have the money to keep dumping into a faulty engine GM! Why don't you take ownership of this terrible engine design and help your consumers stand behind their decision to purchase a GM product? I am so embarrassed to say I am "loyal" to GM because that is where the majority of my family works or retired from. After reading all these "similar or exact" complaints from ALL these consumers with engine replacements ....GM has to help us out!!

This vehicle is amazing! Compared to any other SUV ive driven I feel the more safe in this vehicle. The only downside to safety for the GMC Acadia is that you do have a blind spots when switching lanes on HWY. I often lean forward and into the mirrors to make sure i have clear views of everything on my side's when driving. The only other negative thing about this vehicle on the 2011 model is the headlamps?! I mean seriously!!! When you switch from low to high beam you cant really tell much of a difference! Other than that this vehicle gives amazing room for carrying and transporting things. When we bought our first house I transported a brandnew two sink vanity and top home in only one trip! I love the seats as well but I can say seats can be tempermental. Anyways Love my GMC!!!! This vehicle rocks!
