2010 Taurus Limited FWD
Bought my wife this car 3 nights ago, as of right now all I can say is WOW! I would drive this car 24-7 if I had a choice. I might just have to go get one myself. The exterior styling is second to none on the market and the interior is huge, comfortable, and makes you want to stay in the car.
Great Car
Just purchased the new Taurus SHO. Black on Black; loaded. The first thing I notice was the quality of the car... Fit, finish, looks and ride quality. I had a Cadillac CTS 2008. This car blows it away in comfort, performance and overall ride. The engine and drive train are first rate! Sync system is great,, I have the NAV which works very well. Pound for pound this is a great car for the money. Trust me and drive one, you owe to yourself. Concerns: Remote start option, better graphics on the nav HD...
Even better
Wow, this car is even better than I could have hoped for. This is not the Taurus we knew; not even close. I got the Limited front wheel drive w/ every feature but adaptive cruise. This is a pure world-class vehicle. It has endless space, and technology, dazzling design, and plenty of power and handling. The exterior look is stunning. I feel like a celeb with the way I get stopped by impressed strangers. I actually like the smaller glass lines; gives more private, comfy feel. Very quiet inside and out. Only cons for me are relatively limited interior storage, and no coin storage.
Nice for the wife
The vehicle has a small interior, large trunk, and many amenities. Alternative traction control, cruise, and collision avoidance system lights would come on and shut systems down. When the collision avoidance system slowed the vehicle down the speedometer did not show the decreased mileage. Having to pull over and turn the vehicle off in order to reset. Attempted several times to diagnose the problem. First replaced steering gear clock, then steering sensor, and finally the ABS module was replaced. My wife appreciates the back up and blind spot warning systems. Also, the adjustable pedals. For she is quite short. As for me the back up warning system is needed. Due to the limited visibility out the rear window and blind spots. Caused by the large pillars. The engine compartment is clean and is not cluttered with accessories, wires, belts, and hoses.
