I am selling my 2001 GT and am now into a sweeeet Mystichrome packaged 04 Cobra Convt. This baby isn't just another pretty face either. (The paint does turn heads everywhere I go!) The SVT team did a wonderful job of improving performance, handling and reliability. The upgraded engine and suspension are truly magnificient! The 03s heads problem did not reappear in the 04. The rwhp seems improved from the 03 as well. Friends of mine with the 03 Cobra dynoed out @ 360-367 rwhp stock. The two 04s I have seen dynoed, including mine, were 375 & 377 rwhp stock. Needless to say, some mild mods are in the near future.

I have owned mine for 6 months and am generally happy with it. This car is a worthy bearer of the Mach 1 moniker and accurately recaptures the raw performance of the late 60s musclecar era. The DOHC engine is a little peaky in its power curve compared with the traditional pushrod V8s so it really lauches when you hit 3000rpm and makes some sweet music. The gearing is a bit low for everyday driving. A two-speed rear end or 6 spd would be nice to have

This car handles beautifully!!! You can feel how solidly it is built. It is very comfortable and very beautiful. I have gotten so many compliments on this car...I love the CD player and all the extras that came with it. The paint job is absolutely gorgeous...it looks like an expensive sapphire going down the road. I think it is by far the prettiest car on the road!

This vehicle is under powered for the true Mustang enthusiast. Ford needs more options for its engine power and power train (gear ratio). It would help to have a 430-475hp option. Make a true muscle car, not something everybody buy to look stylish to go to the grocery store.

These cars are great. In the past, Camaro and Firebird have litterally embarassed Mustang. But now, in 2003, Ford made a comeback, even though their Mustang found itself without any competition. I will petty any Camaro SS driver or "Firechicken" driver when they mistake this car for one of the previous models. Then, now in 2004, the Mustang finds itself head to head with an old rival, the legendary Pontiac GTO. The Cobra still wins of course... but what will happen when Dodge comes out with the Charger... yes, they are comming out with their dead Charger once again... who will win, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Overall, an excellent car. I am very happy with my Mustang. I love the MACH 460 Audio System! I have put in 2 40 series Flowmasters, and believe me, it would scare anyone that you come across with at the stop light!

Love my 2004 Torch Red Mustan!, Having one problem with it, though. On cold mornings the windows, stereo, and windshield wipers won't work until you have driven the car for about 10-15 minutes. Taking it in to see what the problem might be. Other than that, it's gorgeous! Handles well! And is good on gas.
