Used 2013 Ford Fusion SE 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl 6A) Consumer Reviews
Great car!!!!
I love my Fusion. It is a very comfortable car to drive, especially on long trips. I have got up to 33 mpg on the highway, better than compacts and the Corolla I rented last year. The ride is smooth, it handles well even up hill and around corners, I have a lead foot even then. So far it has been very reliable with no issues. UPDATE: I owned my Fusion 4 yrs and sold at 93,000 miles. I never had a single problem with it. Very reliable, great gas milage!! I traded for a SUV that I've already had problems with and regretting trading the most reliable, great on gas car I've ever owned.

2013 Fusion SE 1.6
I purchased a 13 Fusion SE 1.6 Auto 1 week ago. It has Luxury, Technology with My Ford Touch, Sunroof Packages and Park Assist. I spent many hours researching this site and reading the reviews. Here are my initial thoughts about the car. The build quality inside and out are outstanding. The car is very comfortable, rides and handles exceptionally well. Only driven 200 miles but averaging 29MPG city/hwy combined. Did see 37 highway driving the posted speed limit. Only issue is I have had to do a Hard Reset twice on the My Ford Touch because it fails to connect to my iPhone. This seems to happen after I drive it without the phone and it won' connect next trip. Software update coming Im told.

Wow.
I have never been a big car fan. They have always simply provided transportation. Something however happened when I looked at the Ford Fusion. When I got in it for a test drive, I was amazed by the comfort. When I put my foot on the gas, I was impressed with the performance. The features - that make it fun to drive as well knocked my socks off. Add to this a dealership (Paul Cerame, St Louis) and salesman (Tony L.) who did not mess with me and I couldn't be happier.
Disappointed Overall
This car look great--rivals a luxury car in my opinion. But I hated it after a few days. I drove it for 650 miles and returned it. The MPG never got above 21 mpg and that was even with driving like an old lady. It took a long time to accelerate, the shifting was jerky (like a manual), and was really loud. The eco-boost engine is a joke. I got better gas mileage with my Murano, filled less and paid less overall. Plus, it was not fun to drive. And it was really uncomfortable. The headrests stuck out and I was constantly adjusting the seats and could never get comfortable. Not a good fit for me--I am 5'5 so maybe a taller person would fit better. And it was hard to park.
1.6L ecoboost engine recall and fire
Let me begin this has been the worst car puchase of my life. I had the car a week and it got recalled in a week for engine fires Sept 7 Ford recieved a report of engine fire Sept 24th Ford recieved another report of engine fire. Oct 22 Ford recieved a report of engine fire Between Nov 8th and Nov 29 Ford recieved 5 additional On November 29th Ford issued recall 12S41 I purchase my car on 11/23. If I would of know of the issues above I would of never bought the car. Ford offered 1) 2500 Trade assist - not enogh for dealers trade casue about axtra $3000 because of taxes he should offer $4500. 2) The would make one car payement 3) ESP Warranity 75000 miles
