Great Car and Fuel Mileage

I bought this after having the opportunity to drive just the Hybrid version. I was impressed with the mileage of those so took an Energi for an extended test drive. I am not a fan of pure electric but this car gives you the best of both worlds, especially if City driving is part of daily driving. If within the 26 mile range of pure electric you won't use gasoline, even if you run out of pure electric the gas/electric still gets great mileage. The Titanium we bought has everything we would ever need as options. We replaced our low mileage Chevrolet Cruze, (which got 30-40 mpg), with this 2019 Fusion Energi. So far getting close to 60 mpg, which includes a lot of highway mileage along with in-town driving. Ride is very nice and electronics are easy to use and intuitive. Comfort level is very high and one of the best of vehicles we have owned. It is too bad Ford is doing away with the Fusion after 2020, I think it is a big mistake.

6 Years Later - Still Love It

Timeless exterior styling, phenomenal fuel economy, low maintenance costs and a delightful car to drive. It's hard to believe Ford built this car and even harder to believe that they've abandoned it (but it still exists as the "Mondeo" in Asia).

A great American vehicle.

I have owned many cars in the 50 years of driving. From large Oldsmobiles, two Volvo's, two VW bugs, a 63 Ford van and 2000 Ford Tauras, a number of Chevy's and a Chrysler 300. I have a 2001 Dodge Durango that I will never part with. I also drive a 2012 Prius to and from work everyday, which I absolutely love. The Ford Fusion Energi however feels like an American Detroit Steel vehicle and for that, it is home. I have also rented many cars in my traveling career. When you are in an American car, you know it. The feel, the ride and knowing it's made in America and one of the best we have to offer is priceless. The ride is nothing short of comfortable and safe. It has gurth. It's lines are a work of art. A drive on the expressway is calming and reassuring. The interior is that of a luxury vehicle. I don't need any more power than it has. No foreign car has the same ride as an American Car. My experiece has always been "you know your not driving an American car" and this is why. This vehicle offers it all. The only option is the sun-roof, which we purchased and happy we did. It is comfortable, well made, quality material with the option of being all electric. For the loaded options and the price, there was no comparison. Buy Amercan. I have read all the critic's reviews and the saying "everone's a critic" comes to mind. This is a great American car and one everybody should check out before buying something else. If you are looking for a well built, all the safety options available and beautifully designed timeless vehicle, this is it.

This car was not made for a family of three. The car has no trunk space. My wife loved the car at first but drive it for a few months she see the this car was a mistake to get. when we got the car is was getting 45 to 47 mpg. And we are getting 32 to 35 mpg. Some time in traffic the car Struggles between ev and motor. Some of the car safety features will go off with no other cars next to it. Collision warning will go off with no car in front or it goes off when the next car to us is turning. The baby's stroller has to go in the back seat because it will not fit in the trunk. Now my wife is driving my 2018 Taurus limited. It is not a good car for us . Cant wait to be done with it.
