I love this car and love the fuel mileage.

If you are looking for a good ride & handling and great fuel mileage buy a Ford Fusion Energi I went from $200 a month to $0 for fuel. I can pay for the car with the fuel savings. I remember 1973 when the gas companies tucked it to me,now it's my turn, what goes around comes around,I'm loving it.

Great Car!

Smooth ride! Great on gas! Beautiful interior and trim. (I get a lot of compliments). Trunk is small, but I've managed to put a carry on luggage (put in first), and a large suitcase (lay flat on top of carry on), and a backpack in the trunk for airport travel. I hope Ford reconsiders and continues to manufacture this car. To me it's a home run!

Amazing Quality and Value!

Love a Fusion Energi Titanium, 01/03/2021

Folks who purchased this car new have a right to be upset. The depreciation they saw makes ZERO sense. This is a great car. It saved my life. I bought my 2016 Ford Fusion Energi Titanium from the original owner in August 2019. It had 18k miles. I make a 165 mile roundtrip commute 2-3 times per week. At the end of 2020 the car now has done 55k miles. It is averaging 51.4 mpg lifetime. I don't plug in at work. It does 38-43 mpg on my commute. Easy to go more than 600 miles between fill ups. That's pretty good for a 14 gallon tank. The ride is q u i e t and extremely comfortable- something I knew coming from my previous 2013 Fusion Hybrid Titanium (purchased in 2017 from original owner after jaw dropping depreciation). The handling is precise. The adaptive cruise control is intuitive. The MyFord Touch interface is slow but functional. I have had no issues with interior build quality. Everything works. Nothing rattles or annoys. It drives like a dream. I got every single feature on this one. It parallel parks itself like a champ! Heated and cooled front seats are so nice. There are more thoughtful touches on this car than I can count. Little subtle interior lighting galore. Feels like I'm driving a cross between a swanky lounge and a spaceship at night. Outside temperature has a significant impact on all electric range and mileage. It loves hot weather. I can go 25+ on a hot, calm day. It hates cold weather. If I run the heater I can be done with the big battery in 10 miles. Something important to understand is that the miles remaining estimate for the battery is way more conservative than the estimate for your fuel. It is not uncommon for me to drive 15+ miles on the battery on a cold morning when the advertised range was 10 when I started. It's an estimate. Careful driving and forgoing the heater can stretch that juice a bit. This is a fantastic car for the price anyone will be asked to pay today. I understand the frustration of original owners. But depreciation sucks and sunk costs are sunk. Drive it, sell it, or roll it off a cliff. You bought it. Me? I'd keep driving it. It's a great car! Yeah, yeah, but what about the whole, "it saved my life" bit? That 165 mile commute, remember? I fell asleep at the wheel on California Highway 46 less than a mile from the corner where James Dean died. The car's automatic lane assist and the centerline rumble strip woke me up just in time to avoid colliding head on with a tractor trailer. Thanks for the help, Ford engineers! Pro tip- get a 220V charging cord. Your next car after this one will probably be all electric anyway.

I really like this car. I have had it for 6 months. Pro's = If you drive short distances it gets great gas mileage. My best was 115 MPG. The ride is nice (I came from a Lexus). Handles well. Love the auto brights. Con's; Dashboard is coming apart. Heated steering wheel is a pain to turn on. The automatic back up drive does not work at all! DO NOT TRY IT! Radio sound is just ok. First month it charged for 20 miles on a full charge. 6 month later, the maximum charge I can get is for 13 miles.

HORRIBLE Car- more days in service than driven

So I have had this car for about 2 years now. I must have a serious Lemon considering all the great reviews. My Fusion has had one electrical failure after another. Over two years the car has sat in service more days than I have been able to drive it. IF the car worked, it could be great. It is very comfortable and has an excellent ride. However there is NO TRUNK for those who actually would use such a thing. The battery pack takes up the full space, so you can fit about a rolled Yoga mat and a few bags of groceries in the trunk, then everything else will be in the back seat space. I really want to love this car, but considering all the major mechanical failures, I can only say I am very lucky I leased and did not buy.
