Explorer round 2.
I went from a 2013 Explorer to a 2022 Explorer. I was hesitant about the 4 cyl turbo but it has a little more power than the old V6 had and is much more economical. It will run about 7 mpg better on a road trip. It seems to have a little more interior space and the AWD holds the road great in northern MN winters. My only real complaint is the placement of the passenger grab handle has moved from the front pillar to above and slightly behind the head. This is not as convenient. The turbo keeps the engine in the torque range for accelerating and passing. The main item, the wife likes it and it is her vehicle. Yes, I would buy again.

Great car!! Love our Ford Explorer!
Base Model with Factory Installed Tow Package
First time owner of an Explorer. Drove Jeep Wranglers since 1989. Great fuel consumption, great adaptability with the various choices of driving selections. Excellent sound system. Replaced the oil and filter at the first 500 miles, replaced stock brake pads with ceramic pads. Never took it back to the dealership, doing the maintenance myself, easy vehicle to maintain. Well built, solid parts.
