Used 2022 Ford Explorer Consumer Reviews
More then I expected
This is a great car. There are some small QC issues with it. I have had a couple seals fall off, the moonroof is quite loud when open or closed, there is a rattle in the drivers door/ b-pillar area that is quite annoying, and I have found some paint defects. The Sync 3 system in this car is better and more stable than the Sync 4 system in my other car even though the screen leaves a lot to be desired in this car... why are the screen bezels so big? The screen would be the correct size in general if there wasn't an inch of bezel like it is from the early 2000s. Currently there are 22,000 miles on the vehicle and still runs and drives great.

Super powers
The Explorer ST has more horsepower than any family suv has a right to have. And it is right there when you need it. Be careful with this one, it's a ticket magnetic.

The ST is the Bomb!!
I have 24,000 miles on my 2022 ST and the only problem I have had with it is one of the Homelink buttons stuck. We are getting 19 mpg, which is only a couple miles a gallon less than the Toyota Highlander we replaced, but with 100 hp more. The comments I get about the looks(Is that a Range Rover? is the most asked question. The red brake calipers behind the 21” black wheels look awesome! I got mine with the 2nd row bucket seats and they are very comfortable. The heated and cooled front seats come in handy here in Las Vegas, as does the heated steering wheel in the early mornings. I highly recommend the Explorer ST. It’s the Bomb!

Explore how BAD it has become!!!!
For the top of the line model they really cheapened the car! Took away the paddle shifter, rear console, power folding second row seats, the second row bucket seats look like beach chairs bolted to the floor, the gas when half empty you can hear sloshing in the tank, the power switch for the rear seats is placed to the right side with a bright light at the same spot, so it blinds you when its dark out, so you haft to fumble for it.the engine sounds like a rock crusher in the interior, very poor sound damping! The interior is not what I expected for the TOP of the line,I ordered sight not scene when I found out that FORD was offering a KING RANCH to the line, thinking it would be top shelf.

Beat one yet
This is my 3rd Explorer and by far the best and most comfortable yet. So many great features and so comfortable. Starting my car from an app on my phone is a game changer. Love the little extra space under the floor in the back and the seats are much easier to put up and down in the 3rd row. CarPlay makes travel so easy. I just love this car!
