I bought a 2018 escape 4wd with 2.0 titanium. It had 32000 miles and was in service for 2 1/2 years. I had some minor warranty and one major area of trouble. The sync 3 with NAV gave me constant problems and it took 4 trips to the dealer before replacing the control module eliminated all problems. I also had LEDs out on the climate control, which was quickly repaired by replacing the display. Now for the good stuff. The Escape drives as well or better than many in its class. The ride, handling and road manners are very refined, making the escape a pleasure to drive. Entry and exit is easy with no ducking your head to get in. . The windshield is high and large giving a great view of the roof and no ducking down to see the stoplights. Dash controls take a while to get comfortable with and I would like to see a more positive feel to all buttons. Front seats have good leg support but like so many manufacturers have A pillow section on the top of the backs that is a real pain for taller drivers . Rear seat have decent head and leg room along with a reclining feature to make It one of the best back seats in this size SUV. Mine had the Sony 10 speaker sound system which is a nice upgrade . Body fit and finish was good but not perfect. The rear hatch to the rear quarter panel has poor fit, plus a sharp edge on the front doors that can "and did" rip open my finger . A file and touch up paint fixed this in a few minutes. All electronics work very well. Lane departure, collision warning , blind spot monitoring and park assist work easily and exactly as described . The 2.0 turbo and automatic transmission is a true gem. Silky smooth power with a transmission to Match. Gas mileage is 18-24. Not great but on par for to days small 4 cylinder turbo cars around this 245 hp range. I was not convinced I would like this SUV when I bought it " I'm not a big Ford fan" but I went through it with a fine tooth comb and tested every option and electronic gizmo this car had to offer and came up with the conclusion that it’s a winner from the heated seats to the start stop feature, that has an off/on switch . Ford put a lot of effort in improving this little SUV to go heads up against cars line the Lexus NX 300, Toyota Rav4, Tucson or Chevy Equinox and I recommend people give this a look at if you're in the market for a good mid sized SUV

Great vehicle with the best entry and exit ever. Nice and peppy without using the turbo. Don't care about all the gadgets. The parking assist is actually broke on mine. The sensor has been pushed in.

This vehicle has great pick up for its size. It handles real nice and gets a lot better MPG than my KIA. I have had No mechanical issues with it. The one thing I do not like about it is the hatch window doesn’t open separately from the hatch like my KIA did and the hatch opening is not 48” so no wide items don’t fit in the back
