Horrible -must read!
Our 2018 Ford escape has 88,000 miles on it, almost all highway miles. Last weekend we barely made it off the highway and into a small town nearby. We had to have it towed to a garage and found out the turbocharger is totally trashed and needs replacing. They then checked the engine and 2 cylinders are gone, the engine needs to be replaced also. We are now looking at a repair bill of around $10,000. Stay away from Ford escapes - bad vehicles

Transmission is garbage
At 120k this vehicle needs it 3rd transmission. No other complaints about the escape but Ford needs to put on a bigger trans cooler . This is supposed to be our family run around vehicle. Will be getting rid of this dud asap, never purchasing a ford front wheel drive again . Buyer beware

Front drivers seat is horrible
Bought 2018 ford escape. Live the features in the car...but...The front seat kills your back no matter how you adjust it. Have been to dealership twice...nothing can be done. Have talked to 2 other people that bought a new Ford escape....same thing...killing thier back. Would not recommend this suv.
