I bought the Ford Escape Titanium 7 months ago with 81000 miles on it. By the time I hit 84000 in 7 months the transmission went out. The car is nice and roomy and great for loading it up with stuff. The radio/navigation/back up camera is great. It can be a little bouncy and noisy during the ride. Acceleration is pretty good for a 4 cyl. I only hope it holds out for 5 more years.

........ because her POS used vehicle was nickel and diming me badly. This thing is sweet. Too small for me, but she is tiny. No leather, no sunroof. NAV package, 2.0 ecoboost (this thing flies!), nice firm power seats, great dash layout, tight firm steering. Wonderful little car. A little pricey, but I think it is worth it for what you get. I guess everything is pricey these days since I haven't bought a new truck since 2004.

Taking to the dealer to get resolved multiple times they say it's fixed and end up giving the vehicle back, shuts down multiple times on the highway.Almost causing multiple life threatening accidents.

Can be a good vehicle, but cheap parts/bad design

Cheap parts, and bad designs is what sums up thisSUV. First, I have the panoramic top and the interior fabric shield is poorly designed. They stretch fabric over a frame that opens and closes below the glass top... the problem is that if you have the windows down, it flaps. Flaps so bad, I have to roll it back to prevent it from tearing itself apart. I bet in a few years, everyone will have to replace this as it will not hold up. Poor design and cheap. In addition to that, the main system of the car is horrible. It is poor connecting to bluetooth devices and is very buggy. There are times that I can't turn off the radio because it's locked up... to fix... change to the sirius "output" and then back. That fixes that bug. It can be a good SUV, but they went cheap. 1/30/2019: Update...discovered a poor design with the car battery - yes, the battery. If you want to change it, you will have to remove other parts of the car (either the air filter assembly on the upper area of the windshield wipers, and a manafold. Car batteries should be easy to replace without the removal of any car part. 1/30/2020: Update...driver seat is now squeaking. I am 6'1" and I weigh 190lbs. I'm probably going to get rid of this vehicle in a year.
