Used 2015 Ford Escape Consumer Reviews
Escape Review
Love the way the escape handles well on the highway. This suv has great trunk space and seats fold down to accommodate transporting larger electronics and larger items. Good mileage andhas some horse power which is great.

Roomy but falling apart
When I first bought this car a really liked it. Lately though I've had nothing but problems. Expensive problems! The latest is that the steering control module is shorting out leaving me with no power steering while driving. It's going to cost upwards of $3,000 to fix and Ford (despite having multiple other cars recalled for this) say it's not their problem. These pieces of equipment are supposed to last the lifetime of the car. Word of advice; if you buy one, get the extended warranty. Better yet, don't buy one.

AMAZING
I have a 2015 escape and close family members who have a 2001 and 2014 escape that i drive/ ride in frequently. The low cost for what it’s worth provides easy access to consumers with all incomes and is easy and cheap to fix. I’ve gone on several extremely long road trips in all three.. and was extremely satisfied with the comfort and convenience of the interior. We have never had any major issues with the cars.. except for a 2016 recall on the latches on the tailgates where they would not close properly.. causing the power tailgate to open again at low speeds. A problem that is easily fixed by our phenomenal local dealer; Zeck Ford of Leavenworth, KS. The sleek and sporty styling of the exterior is a great conversation topic when riding with others. The leg room and headroom are both very nice.. and the quiet cabin and comfortable seats make a relaxing environment for all passengers. So, Overall.. i recommend the escape to anyone who’s in the market for a new car!

Squeaks and Rattles
2.0L turbo in mine. I've owned it for a month now. Acceleration is excellent, which is the only reason I didn't get a CR-V or RAV-4. Not enough power in those for me. Back seat leg room is non-existent. Driver's seat is comfy but isn't centered with the steering wheel. Sony audio is decent but not outstanding. Headlights are amazing at night.
