Used 2015 Ford Escape Consumer Reviews
Solid and dependable
This vehicle has done extra service for us. We managed to accumulate a lot of miles in a short period of time. Vehicle was always ready, always comfortable. We came to count on it to simply do what it was designed to do. Never had a warranty claim. Only service was routine. Bought a 2018 Escape to replace this one. You can spend more or buy a premium brand but you won't get better reliability.

I lost almost $8000 with this purchase.
My Ford Escape has been nothing but problems. Problems ranging from build quality issues, door alignment issues, rust issues, coolant consumption issues, and most seriously transmission banging issues. Buyers beware! I am only speaking up because the consumers need a voice to not purchase the new generation of Ford Escapes. These cars are poorly built, bad handling, and downright dangerous on the road. Mine used to bang and clunk into gear and accelerate rapidly on its own, ford claims everything is normal, that way they don't need to fix it under warrantee. Finally, I took a big loss in depreciation and traded my 2015 Escape for a 2014 Dodge Charger. It was the best move I could have made. I sleep better at night knowing that this car will last for the length of the loan. Good luck to all you new car buyers, but please, please do not buy this Escape. It's a pile and you will loose a lot of money with it.

Single worst car I've ever driven
Absolutely no leg room, seats are not comfortable at all, and whoever designed the headrest couldn't have done any worse. We haven't had it in our fleet a full year and the electronics are already doing the classic ford issue of acting screwy, glad to see some things never change. We are already looking to replace this piece with some thing else only after 10 months. Can't say I'll miss it.

Much better alternatives for the price
i really regret buying this car. It can be zippy and fun at times, certainly during a 10 minute test drive. But living with it day to day is a nightmare. No storage for phones, drinks, and all the other modern accoutrements you need. But this pales in comparison to the absolutely horrible seats. They are so uncomfortable I dread driving it and cannot drive for more than 30 minutes without back pain. And yes, I did actually sit in it during my test drive. If you do want to buy one, rent it for a few days first. The negatives require time to surface, and once they do, you will be glad you didn't sign the dotted line. There are so many better alternatives out there. Do yourself a favor and skip this one.
