Used 2014 Ford Escape Titanium 4dr SUV AWD (1.6L 4cyl Turbo 6A) Consumer Reviews
Still loving my car!
I have had this car for over 9 years and still like it. Have had no problems or issues and the only flaws on the body have been made by me. It still looks good and still drives good so why buy new?

Worst car I've ever had
Since I bought this vehicle used it has had rear main seal replaced torque converter seal replaced, ptu revealed, turbo replaced, another torque converter seal replaced with a flex plate, engine block, and currently in the shop again for something else. I'd work on it myself but I don't have a hoist and there is a giant splash shield under it which .akes things difficult. Stay away from this year. (2014)

From an Edge to an Escape
I drove an Edge for 3 years. And I admit it was my dream car. It was fully loaded and beautiful. A 2011. But I moved into my dream home and my beautiful car was just no longer going to work. Have a side entry garage that the driveway curves over to then a sharp right into the garage. Not an easy manuvere. So instead of beating up my house and car I thought I'd get a smaller car. I love Ford. If you think buying the top of the line Escape with all the features will be as luxurious as the Edge, think again. Totally different class of vehicle. The Escape is very plastic. The seating is no where near as luxurious. But if you can get past that, you have yourself a really wonderful car.
Smallish cool SUV
I think my white Perl and saddle combo is very sharp. Fum car to drive. Turbo 2.0 in sport mode is a surprise. Nice creature features. Down side is the voice only while you drive is awful. Not even the passenger can load data by hand. Not good. Ford does not seem to want to hear what users have to say. Also no option for a power passenger seat seeing the titanium version.

2014 Escape Titanium AWD with 2.0 engine
I leased my white tri-coat with black leather Escape Titanium on 6/29/13 and have now driven it a little over 2300 miles---enough to give you a meaningful review. Essentially, I love this vehicle for its eye-catching exterior design, good performance and handling, and comfortable, quiet interior. With the 2.0 liter turbo engine and regular gas I average about 21.5mpg in a daily mix of city and interstate driving, and I got 28mpg on a 254-mile interstate trip yesterday while averaging about 4-5mph over the speed limit.
