Easy, But Not Fun, To Drive
I traded in a Ford Explorer for my Edge, and the Explorer had much better features than the Edge, although the price (of the Edge) was pretty close. Ford now offers a "Ford Co-Pilot" and a "Ford Co-Pilot Assist". If you just get the "Ford Co-Pilot" you don't get Navigation or Automatic Cruise Control. The seats are not leather, but a "faux" leather. As I stated earlier the price between the two vehicles is very close, and both are the Ford ST Line. I also don't like the 12-inch screen where you must control, using the touch screen, the temperature, air conditioning, heated seats, radio, and almost every other feature. I preferred the smaller screen with actual knobs to control the temperature. My Edge does not have power folding mirrors, which I really like when I park my car in the garage. The Edge I purchased also does not have a front camera for when parking in parking lots and there is a pole in front of me. My Edge did not come with separate memory seat controls for each of its drivers. It seems Ford is charging more but giving you less. Having said all this, I do like some features of the Edge. The back carrying capacity is pretty good, especially when I fold down the rear seats. My Edge is easy to drive, but not much fun. The engines in my Explorer and my Edge are both the 2.0 liter turbo, but for some reason the Explorer seemed to have much more power, especially when passing another vehicle. My Edge is much easier to park; the Explorer was wider and longer in the front. Would I buy another Edge? No, I would look at other makes and models, such as the Honda Pilot, the Toyota Highlander, or the Hundai Santa Fe or Pallisade. I really want another Hybrid, which wasn't offered with the Edge. So, overall, the Edge is not my vehicle of choice for future models to consider. I believe 2024 is going to be the last year Ford is offering the Edge, which is okay with me.

Great for familys of 4!
Amazing car with all the bells and whistles for a family of four, plenty of room for car seats, plenty of trunk space. Great safety features, love that turbo engine. Love that I can start my car from my phone so that it's cooled down when I put my kids inside. Love the leather seats so it's easier to clean when my kids make a mess.
