2019 EDGE OUTSTANDING!

The safety (blind spot detection etc) is INCLUDED in price! Ride and Handling feel better than my wife’s GLC 300 Mercedes. Engine could be stronger as weight of vehicle is felt. For the money, this is a homerun ⚾️ 🚙!

I bought the titinium awd loaded with every features so you can imagine my disappointment when the vehicle left me stranded at a gas station. The lights flickered, engine ran all checked lights then just nothing. How was this vehicle allowed to get sold with rain sensing technology not working, foot lightgate not responsive, engine making buzzing electrical noise (didn't hear it til we got it home). So far vehicle has been in the shop twice. First time a nightmare due to dealership not taking complaints seriuosly. Saying that rain sensing technology couldn't be tested unless it rains. They ended up replacing unit due after 4 days. Why engine stalled, not a clue since the computers all say car is fine. Fordpass has been a no go to connect, the abs traction has kick in intermittently twice while on the road on beautiful clear day causing vehicle to slow and be unresponsive. Again, dealer says nothing on computer report. Second visit to Ford shop was much better, they did listen, somewhat fixed the issue with engine noise electrical connection, Fordpass connect but says there's no reading on computer that anything is wrong with vehicle. Overall, there's so many glitch happening that I'm willing to bite bullet and pay extras to trade to something else. Not a Ford.

Quite Classic with an Edge

I love my Edge. It's roomy and comfortable. The power liftgate is so convenient when you have your hands full. It's got so much room in the back for storage. I think I can pack most of my house in there and still have room! The backup camera has saved us a couple of times already. I love the large touchscreen, that I don't even have to touch most of the time because it's voice activated. Blind spot and lane assist, adaptive cruise, charging ports, headlights auto dim and bright! I'm telling you, don't bother looking at anything else. This will be the SUV of your dreams. I only have one issue. It reportedly comes with 8 cup holders. I can only find four. It's not a big deal, I don't need 8 cup holders, but the curiosity is killing me!

Good, but could be better!

Horn is embarrassing--they could have done much better. Engine looks unfinished, no cover covering the roughness. Navigation not updated. Back up camera too slow to come on--I'm backed out before it kicks in.

Ford Edge Frozen

I've had my 2019 Ford Edge for 5 months. All was well until I tried leaving a grocery store one day. I tried reversing out of the parking spot and my car froze up. I could not move any gears, the wheels froze, couldn't move the car. First I called a ford dealership and talked to service. The man said he has never heard of this and that I would have to have the car towed into the service center. I then called AAA and they sent a tow truck. The driver said he has never seen anything like this. He had a hard time getting it up on the tow truck because the wheels wouldn't roll. We finally got it to the shop and they claimed they couldn't figure out what was wrong. After a week, they said they had to replace multiple transmission controls, mother boards, control panels.....not sure what all they replaced. This make me very nervous as it only has 25,000miles on it. I think I will sell and buy something else. I've seen too many poor reviews on this car. I also don't like the horn and I don't like the rotary gear shift control instead of a regular gear shift shaft. Be very careful when purchasing this brand.
