Like the Ford Edge. Provides plenty of room in the back for hauling luggage and other items. Never have had any problems with it. Roomy seats in the front. Good vehicle.

Great SUV but denting the wallet on gas.

If you live in an Urban area with a lot of stop-and-go traffic, be aware that your mpg will be LOW! I live in central LA and when most errands are less than 5 miles in a local traffic, I'm averaging 12-14 mpg. On an early Sunday morning where the road is relatively empty i can get 18 mpg.

The Perfect Utilitarian Vehicle (2016 Sport)

I have owned the car for some time now and having driven the Edge for almost 22,000 miles, I am extremely pleased with the car. Well, it's not a car, but it drives and handles exceptionally well, like a well built car. It has enough storage area as a normal sized SUV, but it;s not an SUV. The seat for down with a touch of a button and they return with ease. The Edge has great acceleration. The 6 cylinder mated with the turbo is very fast. In fact, the car feels like it always wants to go fast. It traverses the suburban landscape effortlessly and handles with a sure grip on the road. The wheelbase provides a short footed driving experience, albeit with a tendency to over steer. The Edge has great brakes and stops on a dime. The All-Wheel drive works well, but is muted a good deal by the Pirelli tires. The sporty suspension relies a great deal on the rubber on the road, so if you want a smoother highway cruiser, I suspect that you will sacrifice a bit on performance changing to a pricey Michelin cruiser set. Tire wear is on heavy for the front set, so consistent tire rotations is a must. The interior is very comfortable. You think you are driving a much bigger car. The panoramic sunroof runs almost the length of the roof and makes the car seem even bigger. Controls are well situated and easy to use. The infotainment center (Sony) is a bit quirky. The SYNC 2,0 has trouble with Apple, especially when connected to the Sync port. It creates a bit of a conflict with Bluetooth. Since I have not opted to upgrade Sync to accommodate Carplay, I use it almost exclusively on Bluetooth. The sound is surprisingly robust and clean. Navigation is decent, but like most major car Navs, it can take the long way home. The car has an option to update it's systems via an internet connection, but I have been unsuccessful in that regard. It required the dealer to perform the upgrade. Maintenance is limited to Oil changes and rotations, and brake wear has been light. The wiper motors are a bit lagging and lazy, but they get the job done. I enjoy driving the Edge and find it a very good car for the money/ MPG 20.3 Average

I recently bought a 2016 edge sport. Looks sporty, fun to drive, handles more like a car than an SUV, and not too big or small. The first test drive I immediately noticed how comfortable the seating is. Normally wouldn’t notice something like that, but it’s that comfy. It runs so smooth and quiet, but plenty of pep for highway driving. Fuel mileage has been around 20-21mpg in my suburb town. Not great, not awful but It does have the biggest motor option so to be expected. I was surprised with the amount of cargo area given its size. I can’t yet say on reliability, but the reviews all seem to be good on that account, which was a major factor in the purchase decision. Only small issue Iv had is the infotainment is glitchy at times, usually after cleaning the screen so probably my own fault. *UPDATE 2023* Still driving this car. I still love it. Minimal issue this far after 4 years (some gaskets needed replaced which my extended warranty covered and normal maintenance). Overall very happy with this car
