Well I bought The 05 Magnum used, it was shipped to Puerto Rico, I bought it from and older Gentleman and I never had one always wanted one and I got it And I Love it, goes up steep mountains and not bad at all, my 08Montero was slow going up and wasted alots of gas, but this one is good on gas compare to the Montero. I strongly recommend that going uphill shift manually so it won't hurt the trans or the motor. Keep maintenance up it should be good. My inner dashboard lights don't work though.

This was my husband's car. It used a lot of fuel and needed premium gas to run the best. I've been told it had a cult following but I was not a fan. Still, I sold it at a good price to someone who was really keen.

Good power and looks with adequate cargo room. Better than expected fuel mileage - 27 highway and 19 highway city. Several annoying electrical problems - rear windows failed intermittently, wipers had glitches, and constant dash rattles that started at 20k miles. Handling is so so for a big and heavy car - no corner carver. Bland but functional interior.

Really, I can't think of one obvious fault with this car. The car is so well balanced that I really don't even think the AWD is necessary except for extreme weather conditions. Everywhere I go, people ask about this car, she's a real head turner. And she is a DREAM to drive. You just feel so comfortable in her. You feel like you become a part of her. Can't say enough positive things about her.

Sluggish with the V6. 2nd gear is too tall. No torque below 3,000 rpm. Desperately needs a 5-spd auto, not 4! The steering is too much on-center. If there's a groove in the road, the Magnum will find it.

I had this car for 4 days before the engine blew (200 miles on it!). I was convinced that it was a lemon, but the dealership said it was a problem with the car and would not be covered by warranty. I'll take their word and assume it is an awful car. And Daimler Chrysler has backed the dealership! Beware-if you buy this car (or the 300, Charger, or any other car with the same platform) and you have problems, they will not take responsibility. I had heard similar things but wanted this car so badly, I took a chance on it anyway. Biggest mistake of my life. I am actually left hoping that the engine problems continue so I can take them to task and claim it as a lemon. I am a VERY angry consumer!

In 2006, I bought my 2005 dodge magnum the first time I saw the magnum I knew that was going to be my next vehicle I would own. Well since having my magnum I have put 8 tires on it, 3 tire rod ends, and an all whell alignment cause you can't just have a front or back you have to have them all done at once, brakes for the works all around twice, and the rocker panels are held up with plastic clips that cost $5.00 per clip. The front dash rattles without the heat on. There is so much rattles in the front end. And recently I was driving down the road and it was like it went into neutral all by itself and my headlights go dim just randomly. Great car if you have lots of money for the repairs.

Working on my 3rd set of rotors at 49,900 miles. Continental tires lasted 20,000 miles. Always feels likes it's out of alignment. Second set of tires showing wear. Needed a left upper tie rod end and lower control arm for inspection this year. Both key fobs broken. Musty smell when you turn air on or heat in the winter. Will never by a Dodge again. Never again.

Bought R/T AWD in May 08, Wicked fun to drive! R/T has good pickup in the 3k+ rpm range. Little sluggish off the line. The front suspension concerns me. Has a clunking noise when you run over an abrupt bump (possible tie-rod end ($100) or ball joints($700) I've been told). Front tires seem to be wearing on the outer edges a little prematurely. New Pirelli's=$$ Plan to change tie rod ends with grease fitted ends soon and then rotate tires and realign. Fuel econ is not the best. Around town I've gotten 19 mph. Hope this car stands test of time though? I sold a good Buick Regal GS for this.

Tires wear every 15k miles. Car pulls to the right, dealer says every thing is OK after 3 alignments. After warranty expired, I have major issues with front end noises. Spent lots of money on tie rods, stabilizer links, tires, bushings, etc. I still have front end noises. My mechanic says get rid of it. Says car has multilink suspension. Too many parts that can break. People wonder why American car companies are going out of business. I'm buying a Toyota next.

I have 52,000 miles on my Magnum RT. It's an awsome car. Great exterior design, and the Hemi is a plus. I had a tranny leak 8 months ago. It was a seal...the dealership replaced it at no charge. The thermostat was replaced 3 months ago. Other than those 2 discrepancies, I really enjoy driving my Magnum. It is a little slipery to drive in the rain, I think that is typical of any RWD. I plan on keeping my Magnum for a long time...unless I can find another car that is as comfortable and looks just as cool.

Love the look. That's it. Got car with 70 miles on it. Have had it in the shop many many times. Cylinder 2 misfire 5 time, trans leak, both rear window motors replaced, 3 radios replaced, 3 sets of leather seat covers, air bags disable themselves, heat seat works on and off, rattle in the dash, brakes at 24000, warped rotors, E brake need to be replaced vibration in the front end at 45 to 60 MPR and 3 sets of tires. If you can get by all of that its a great car.

The Dodge Magnum is having a problem with the front end pulling to the right. Iv'e had it in the shop 5 times since I purchased it in August. It's better, now the car just drifts to the right, but on a distance drive your arm will still be sore .Dodge said its engineers are working on the problem but its been a couple of months. Though I'm past the lemon law, I love the car and dont want to give it up. I hope they come up with something soon! My friend at work has the same problem with his and and loves it to much to give it up

I was hesitant to spend $30,000 on any car classified as a "station wagon." But the styling grew on me, and the 340-hp HEMI goes a long way to dispelling myths about boring station wagons. The car handles better than any other 4,000-lb. full size car I've ever driven. I'm getting about 18 mpg city and 21 or 22 mpg highway, which is quite good for a car this size with this much power. I use the recommended mid-grade gas. This car is fun to drive and comfortable on long trips. I have had the dealer fix the "pulls to the right" problem, and I had to have the rear seat center seat belt replaced because the retractor jammed.

I recently bought a 2005 Dodge Magnum SE. The base model with none of the fixings, and let me tell you that this vehicle has all that I will ever need. I fell in love with the Magnum over a short stint working for the dealer that I bought it from. The car I bought became my motivation to succeed. I have owned many cars in the past, but my Magnum is by far the best vehicle I have ever owned. The 2.7L V6 delivers plenty of power, even when I don't need it. It is as civil at 70- 75mph as it is at 30. The gas mileage is acceptable and the ride ie exceptional. Not to mention the turned heads everywhere I go. Do I recommend it? A resounding yes. Add in its versatile nature and the Magnum is #1.

You have to put this up against matched contenders like the Marauder,LS sport, Impala SS and the A4 3.0 and when you do it truly shines. Bang for the buck is an understatement. Use all the hemi can give you and the competition will only see your smile in teh rear view and the gorgeous rear end of the Magnum. Dodge has hit this one out of the park!! Dodge lovers drool and the rest will gawk. It is a love it or leave it style but like the pitch with the PT they will either get it or they won't. Given the number of features that come standard it is a hands down winner I am glad I waited for it.

I rented this car on a recent trip and was very impressed overall, but not by the 2.7 Six cyl. My couriousity got the better of me and I test drove the Hemi. BIG MISTAKE. I was sold right there and then. I have had more attention with this car than I know what to do with. People follow me in stores and out to the parking lot asking to see the car. I feel like I'm a spokesperson for the company. People wave me down at intersections and at gas stations inquiring about the car. I thought I would never own a station wagon, but as the saying goes, never say never. Plus the aggresive styling and suburb handling made the sale of this car a lot easier. Dodge did a great job!

Looking for a family vehicle and ended up with a classic. This wagon has everything I need covered. From its great looks to fuel economy I've been smiling since purchase. As a father of four small children, the wagon carries everything I need, as A daily commuter, it's got the performance to get in and out when I need it, and as a 43 y/o teenager, I enjoy the looks I get when out cruisin. The sound system is extreme and a pleasure to listen to, and the whole package cost me much less than I expected. Dads everywhere are going to thank Dodge for this artwork on wheels. I totally recommend this ride to any Dad on a budget, it beats the wheels off of anything else out there.

Design of Magnum is great. I got the first Magnum delivered into Knoxville,Tn. on 05/26/2004. I had ordered the car on 02/07/04. I have never had as many coments as I have had on this new car and I have owned several new cars.I love driving the new Magnum and I have had only 2 problems with it. It has a right hand pull and high speed vibration. They have came out with a bolt kit for the cradle or K member, to give a caster and camber adjustment to eleminate the right pull and load balance of the tires and wheels fixed the vibration. The car is fun and powerful to drive and sure turns heads. Yes it does have a HEMI.

For me to rate a car as high as I did it has to be something special. At 6'3" I fit very well inside. I would like to have the center arm rest come out a few more inchest to beter saport my arm. Very quiet inside and at highway speed. Can hardly hear the engine. Stomp on the gas and no question you got a bunch of woop ass power. Brakes are solid and sure footed. As for styleing, drive one for the day and see the looks you get. People ask all kinds of questions about it. The first time you are walking into a parking lot and you see your Magnum amung plain cars that all look the same, you will be as happy as I am about a well rounded station hot rod... ZOOOOMMMM

Cut of the restricters at rear end, and gained 35 more HP! Removed the Boston Premium sound system and replaced the entire system with Eclips. Fuel milage is fantastic, averaging 25 MPG as I drive from 1800 feet up to 5000 feet on Sunday and back down on Friday every week. Also doing approximatelly 1500 miles per month from Scottsdale Az to Sadona Az. Best car for the money I paid, and I have a BMW Z4, Porsche Turbo and 1976 TR6.

We bought the RT-fully loaded. The driving pleasure and comfort is extraordinary. Acceleration is firm and steady, with no delayed action. There is a very snug feeling with the lowered windows. The storage capacity is surprisingly ample. It is dressy enough to take clients to lunch, while still having the ability to "truck" some things around.

When many people choose form over function, Dodge has come out with a car that finally has both ideas in mind! What is better than having a grocery getter family car that can take on the other V8's and rice burners that tool around town. We are so happy with this car that everytime we see it, it makes us smile. There's nothing like knowing that when you need the horsepower it's there for you. As far as those people who are complaining about it being a gas guzzler, wake up! You have a HEMI so you knew the consequences!

Very comfortable to drive the long distances that are required, at times. Getting 22-26 mpg. Would not trade it for any other wagon on the market in its price range. This is a family car with attitude. We love the aggressive styling inside and out. I love how the car just glides over the road, even with all the pot holes from this last winter. The only issue we have had so far is the washer sprayers on the hood broke. Those as well as most of the Magnums parts are "dealer only". We really didn't want to buy a mini van but that was what we where needing, so glad we found this instead.
