2008 Dodge Caravan Pain in the *****
Always needed brakes, pads, rotors & screwed up calipers (I mean screw in calipers). Problems with fuel pump and sending unit, 2 replacement master cylinders, recalls on computer modules, air bags, ignition. More problems with oil pan, power steering, gas cap, WMC module, ABS module, rear wheel bearing, shocks, gas tank vent hose. Van threw three codes, P0721, P0731 & P0732. Replaced input & output sensors on engine (P0721), check engine light went off, but not shifting out of second gear. After three starts, check engine light back on and van won't shift out of first. Not putting another penny in it for gear shift solenoid, wiring harness nor a new transmission. I'm cutting my losses and junking it. GONE!

So Disappointed...
For few years I asked myself when was Dodge going to change the minivan style 01-07, finally did in 08. So disappointed by Dodge by the design, power response, and gas mileage. As owner of 97 Grand Caravan Sport, I can say my 97 handles and get better gas mileage than the 08 model. The Stow-N- Go a plus. Having a handicap child with a wheel chair lots of room is a must. The 08 models lacks space. With my 97, I can place the wheelchair standing up without a problem. With the 08, I had to take it apart.

Disgusted
I have been driving Caravans since 1989 and this had got to be the worst one. The key doesn't always work and although the van is running, the signal lights, radio do not which is dangerous when you think your signal is working and you try to use it. The brakes wore prematurely and the plastic in the hatch cracked in two. The tires wore prematurely as well.
Very disappointed
Lots of problems with this Van right out of the gate. We were having transmission problems that none of the dealerships believed were real. Until about 300 miles before the warranty was up. Then they had to replace the gears in the transmission and a bunch of other stuff. Then little problems. The grab handle on the passenger side became loose, the map lights stopped working, the driver door speakers are blown. This is the second and last Dodge / Chrysler product I will ever buy. I don't care how cheap they sell them for. I guess you get what you pay for.
Major Repairs
I purchased this van used and did not own it a year when the tipim Module went bad. (that's the electrical box that controls the car), just made a year and now both evaporators rear and front do not work. $2600 to repair at the Dodge dealer. Dodge corp. will assist with 25% of repair. i cannot afford another major repair. (DO NOT BUY THIS VAN) what to do?
