Death machine
This car has been nothing but trouble since the day I purchased it. First, it poured down rain through the sun roof. Dodge claimed they never heard of this problem, but I found it all over the Internet. Because of Dodge's refusal to acknowledge it, it took 3 months to fix. Next, the check engine light kept coming on. On the third try, I was again able to find the problem and get them to fix it. This time, it could have killed me. The suspension system rusted out prematurely (12 years, 98,000 miles), and I made it to the repair shop just in time. According to the picture and service manager, it's shocking I wasn't killed in an accident before arriving. It rusted through so badly, the steering column and engine were barely being held up by a thread. I have the pictures to prove it. I wouldn't have another Dodge if someone gave it to me for free. I'm just thankful it never fell apart while my granddaughter was riding with me. Take my advice and don't buy a used Caliber. Thankfully they no longer are being made

Dodge forgot about quality
This car was purchased in February 2011 and 3 month into owning the vehicle i notice rust, paint chips, and the rear window started getting a weird diamond pattern. Also, the car started to run rough.
Realistc Review
I am a longtime Chrysler buyer, 18 yrs. I spent about 8 weeks looking for a new car as my Chrysler Sebring was ready to come off lease, looked at them all, Ford, Chevy, Kia, Hyundai, etc. I have been driving this 2010 Pacific Blue caliber for about a month, and 1500 miles. My only complaint is that the operation of the chill zone is not adequate, I suppose if I was on the road 3-4 hrs it would be, directions for it are scanty also. My wife thinks the seat comfort is great, she hated the seats in my 2007 Sebring.
