Used 2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser 4dr Wagon (2.4L 4cyl 5M) Consumer Reviews
2004 PT Cruiser
I bought my PT Crusier in October of this year as a second car. So far I have 3500 miles on it and have been very satisfied with the comfort and the ride. The gas milage is around 21 miles to the gallon in-town, which is the same as my Chevy Venture. I recently drove it on a 750 mile trip and got about 24 MPG. The PT is a fun car to drive, but no speed demon since I have the non-turbo engine. The problem I have had is that the engine died once at a stop light. It started right back up and I haven't had a problem since. The dealer checked it out and couldn't fine anything wrong either.
Cruisers are great to crash in
I had a 2002 Cruiser which I just totaled two weeks ago. I went to clean out the car tonight, and I was struck once again at how well that car protected me. I loved that car for a number of reasons, but the fact that I survived such a horrible crash (crushed between two trucks at the front and back) with only some muscles aches... have I mentioned that I loved that car? After I cleaned out my old Cruiser, I went to the dealership and bought another one. I've owned my new Cruiser for about two hours now! For all the great reasons that we buy Cruisers - lets add safety to the list. That car protected me better than I ever imagined it would.

Lacking Build Quality
Drives nice. Eats a lot of gas and am concerned about the safety factor. Car feels like it's made pencil thin. Nice design and interior design.
My First New Car
The Dealer was horrible, because they didn't wash my car or give me gas and it was on empty, but the car runs so smooth and fast for a base model.
I LOVE MY PT CRUISER
This is the best driving and performing car I have ever owned. It is sooooooooo comfortable. My next car in 2 yrs. will be a limited Edition Turbo. Couldn't afford that this time. If you drive this vehicle, you will be hooked.
