Used 2006 Chrysler 300 C 4dr Sedan (5.7L 8cyl 5A) Consumer Reviews
Wonderful vehicle!
I have driven $70k cars and this one ranks right there with them. Dealership left alot to be desired. Vehicle is as smooth as one could dream of. I am not getting anywhere near the mialage they say I should and I am not pushing this car. I am averaging 16.9 and I drive 50 miles a day on the highway with light city. My concord was 22.5 all day long! Some items seam cheaper then I would have liked. Chrome rims almost feel plastic, definitely do not feel like alloys. I think they are just plated. Does not show instant MPG, always was my fav. feature of the chrysler. Not an option on this one. Visor mirrors are that of a base cavalier. All in all, it is the best car I have ever owned. FAST!!!!
Hits & Misses
Overall, a great, full to drive and true head turner. The Hemi gives the car plenty of get up and go, acceleration is outstanding and responsive. Plenty of interior room, well laid out instrumentation. Seating needs more bolstering, better designed buckets to keep you from sliding, better interior noise dampening to provider a quieter ride and reduce wind and road noises. The vehicle appearance demands attention and gets you notice on the road. Longer seat bottoms are needed for tall driver, or seat extension. Car provides great leg room. I am over 6 feet and this cars allows me to adjust my seat all the way back and still have room to get in the back seat and be comfort. Great car.
300C is my top choice in American cars
The Chrysler 300C is an excellent mix of luxury looks and power. The navigation system comes in handy but shoud have been touch screen! But besides that the I'm happy with the car. I traded my Ford Expedition in for this Hemi and miss sitting up high in my truck so im considering buying the new Cadillac truck or a Suburban but this Hemi is a keeper!
not that great
I recently purchased my "HEMI" 300 because of all the HYPE. Having traded my GS430 Lexus I am sorry I made the switch. The power is incredible but the ride and road noise is horrible. The transmission is 'notchy'not shifting at the right speed, lots of reving. The interior is very cheap and poor fitting plastic. The seats do not offer the support needed when putting the pedal down on corning. It is still an sluggish 'american ride' Now the worst...High Test gas the best i could get is 200 miles on a tank. Come on American , you can do better than that. I am trading in on a new Limited Avalon.not the power but so much better overall,
300C in Retrospect
This is the 2d 300. They both wear out the left front tire on the outside. That means the caster camber if off from assembly. The breaks pulsate at 20K miles. That means improper cooling. The deck lid has no handle to lift it up with. If your car is dirty, your hand gets dirty too. That is not practical. The horn needs to be more sensitive. The rear compartment air vents don't deliver what they should for the price. I was supprised that the chrome wheels were made of plastic along with the mirrors -- for the price they should have been the real thing.
