2022 High Country Review
This is our 3rd Silverado and first High Country (previous LTZ models), all 5.3L motors. I wouldn't touch the 6.2L, too many issues reported. The interior was very luxurious and the Adaptive Ride Country was worth every penny of the $900 option. I can't believe it rode so well on the standard 22" tires. The mutil-flex tailgate seemed like a gimmick, but turned out to be the best option on the truck, we used that feature frequently. And, a good value for the $260 option cost. I looked very hard to find a 5.3L motor, with the 6.6' bed, they are quite rare. Also rare was the deletion of the Stop/Start, a problematic feature on many Chevy motors. This truck was also missing the Active Fuel Management (chip disabled), also a big headache on many Chevy's. The only downside was the glitchy phone interface. It would constantly not connect with the primary phone. And if I had my wife and my phone in the truck, it would never switch properly. The dealer just shook his head and said his did the same thing. We never had any warranty issues at 25k, we only sold the truck because it wouldn't fit in the garage of our new home and we also didn't need a 4WD vehicle or large truck. Whoever bought this one, got a great truck.
