Turbo Troubles??
I am driving a 2018 Chevy Equinox 1.5L Turbo DOHC 4-Cyl SIDI VVT. A year ago when it was new it went into the shop four times (three problems). The dealer service shop never really gave any good descriptions with their main saying being "we have never had a problem with this before...........". First time - engine light came on and warning showed that engine power greatly reduced. Car kept running but very slow acceleration. Had to take to dealer to have it reset - none of the extras such as remote start works with the engine light on. Next time was something with a vent tube out of the gas tank - they said it must have been hit by a rock flying up and cut the line - charged over a $1000 for a car with 7000 miles. Next time was another gas tank vent problem they said was plugged - repaired under warranty - two trips to get it repaired as they did not have the part. Today, the same engine light problem. Car kept running but sluggish since engine power was greatly reduced. Have to take it in again to get it reset. It was cold out but was running for two hours before the engine light came on - same as last year. This is a company fleet car and I would never buy a Chevy turbo car on my own. Not a fan of this car at all. Would also like to hear if anyone else had similar problems??

Words can express my level of hatred!
Traded in my 2013 Ford Explorer for a 2018 equinox and I have never regretted anything more. This car is not comfortable to drive or ride in and the seats are hard and too skinny. Had it for 10 months now and every time I drive below 15 mph it starts jerking and acting like it wants to stall out. Not sure if this has to do with the auto stop, which I also hate, but guess I will be putting my less than a year old car in the shop now. Biggest POS ever and I can't wait to get rid of it. Do not buy this car!

Regret buying
We regret buying the 2018 Equinox. The reason why we regret buying it is that we found out two months after purchasing the car that the fuel gauge was not reading correctly. Took it to the dealership and they said that GM knew about the problem since October 2017 and have not fixed it yet and are not warning consumers about the car problem. We contacted GM and they said that they're looking into it and that there's nothing that they can do right now for us. And the only way to keep track of our fuel is we have to keep resetting the trip gauge. This is very inconvenient for me being a mother having to worry if my car is going to run out of gas while driving it I should not have to do this with a brand new car.

EXCITING VALUE!
Our first Chevrolet in years. Over all we are very pleased with comfort,storage,a/c,leg and headroom front and back. Do not like the stop start feature... We have had or 2018 Chevrolet equinox since Sept. 2017. Buckalew Chevrolet associates and service were outstanding.
