Used 2017 Chevrolet Cruze LT 4dr Sedan (1.4L 4cyl Turbo 6M) Consumer Reviews
cruze keeps you cruising
I'm a chevy girl, it started with my dad's 72 Nova & Impala. I've had a Sonic Hatchback, a Malibu sedan, but I absolutely live my Cruze. MPG is unbeatable and she's a smooth drive! So happy with my purchase!

Daily driver? You betcha!
So let me start off by saying this, I love this car. I’m 18 so it was a little hard for me picking a car that was stylish, but this was it. And boy am I GLAD I went for it. I went from driving a 2000 Lincoln gas guzzling boat to driving this small yet very fuel efficient car. Now yes, it does have a small fuel tank, but it last a surprisingly long time (with proper driving etiquette)! Now it does have an auto stop feature which saves gas when stopped for longer periods of time which does save gas. My only real complaint again is the smaller fuel tank. I wish it was a little bit bigger, but with it being small, means it takes fewer dollars to fill it up! Who doesn’t love a car you don’t dread going to the gas pump with. The sound also sounds immaculate, though I’ve noticed that it does seem quiet down a bit when slowing down the car. Personally, I don’t really like it because I drive alone and love to have my music quite loud. But other than that, the sound is very rich, balanced, and the car even lets you customize the EQ, and how loud you want it to be! For the driver, you’ll be sitting pretty comfortable. Now, I’m a big boy. 6’5” and 275, and yet I fit in this car VERY comfortably. I can easily reach the controls as well as the touch screen radio (with Apple and Android Carplay) without any hassle. With a volume knob and song skip buttons on the console as well as behind the steering wheel, which has been a big help. Now, the acceleration on it isn’t the best. This ain’t a Mustang, GTO, or Corvette, but it will still get you where you need to go. With a top speed of 160mph, you can zoom anywhere across the country with up to 465 miles in your tank before having to refill. Would I use it race? Not without tuneups, but for those quick little burst of speed you need to pass someone on the highway, it’ll do phenomenal and even surprised me my first time driving it. For the parents out there looking to get this car for a teenager, it has a teenager mode! This allows you to program certain keys to only allow for certain actions in the car. Don’t want your kid going over 80mph? Done. Don’t want the volume going up over a certain level? It’ll do it. I really love this feature, not even for teens, but if someone is driving my car, I don’t want them going crazy with the speed or messing up my sound system. All in all, I do give this car a 4.5 out of 5. The interior is spacious enough for 4-5 people, the heated seats, and the easy to use radio are all perks. It also offers a great field of view from the front, sides, and back. And with a rear backup camera? You’ll be sure to make sure your back in parking is perfect everytime! Now, I can’t deny the bad as well. The car is short to the ground, which I personally don’t like, especially because of the hilly terrain down in West Virginia. The small gas tank, and all of the engine issues people seem to be having with it. It honestly makes me nervous because I LOVE this car. However, if you’re in the market for a sedan that’ll get you from point A to point B in style and grace, this is the one for you!

Buyer beware
I purchased a 2017 gen 2 Cruze with 13,000 miles on it. I commute to work and put on 100 miles a day. With 66,000 miles on the car, the engine light came on and there was a loss of power. The dealer says cylinder 4 had a misfire. Upon further testing, the piston was cracked. If you buy a Cruze, get an extended warranty!!!

Fell short of the hype!
The car sits very low to he ground and is very light weighted so I had to add sandbags to the trunk for weight. You can’t wash the interior to keep it clean without it falling apart. Great in gas. Comfortable interior.
