Have 13,500 miles on a 2012 Cruze eco. The mileage is phenomenal. Took a trip last weekend through the mountains and averaged over 50 mpg. 13,500 miles and no problems to report. The only small issue is the placement of the hot-cold dial for the climate control, the way I sit in the car my leg rests on it and sometimes I inadvertently turn it, otherwise, great car.

The little Turbo that makes me smile

Right off the bat, this 4 cylinder motor with a little Turbo always brings a SMILE to my face when I step on it! My wife has confidence to jump on the freeway and outrun the Big Rigs at the onramps and it gets excellent fuel economy (close to 30 mpg around town). With over 60,000 miles logged, its never needed Brakes! We have replaced all 4 tires at 40,000 miles, the Battery most recently, and run Mobil 1 synthetic motor oil...that's ALL! Very impressed with how well the paint, interior and suspension have lasted, as well. We got the extended warranty while purchasing it brand new, but it's been the most reliable vehicle we've ever owned. Once my Colorado was worn out, we bought another Cruze LT, a 2016 Limited and look forward to having the same awesome experience with it!

I’m a 19 year old girl who’s had this Vehicle for a little over a year. I’ve had nothing but problems with this vehicle. My oil has problems and all the parts, the drivers window is broken inside the door twice. It’s good on gas but somethings always going wrong with my car and I literally drive it from my house to work or from my house to school. When I bought the car the dealership told me everything was fine and shortly after I’ve had to get many things replaced.

So far so good with my 2012 Cruze. Great car on the highway, this is a huge reason why I bought it over the competition. The Cruze feels like a Lexus compared to some others (especially the Hyundai Elantra) very quiet and smooth. So far I average 33 mpg with a 50/50 mix of highway and in town driving. Nothing has broke yet (32,000k) and it feels solid and well built.

Routine maintenance only; zero problems. I purchased an LTZ RS for my son to take to college. On his trips home he is averaging 33 m.p.g. (80% highway, 20% city). The Cruze is feels very solid, like a much bigger car, handles well, and is quiet. I drove it on a two day trip, which included 12 hours through a snowstorm (almost blizzard) across Pa and NY the day after Christmas and it did great in the snow (on factory tires). The car was comfortable for that long of a drive, as much as anything else I have driven. I think GM did a great job with the fit, finish, and styling. My son drove a Cobalt while in high school - the Cruze is nothing like it.
