Going in the snow
I am very impressed with the XT4 AWD in the snow. I have had a number of awd and 4wd vehicles and I have to say this may be the best handling. I just had it out in about 6 to 8 inches of snow, Ice, on some mild inclines and it did great. I haven't put cable chains on, and just factory tires, but I was very impressed. Usually, its at my mountain cabin where we deal with the snow, but this week the Seattle area is getting a lot, and on Bainbridge, where I live there is snow, ice, and hills (and a limitted amount of road sanding). I have to say it totally exceeded my expectations. I have only had the car about a week, but I am loving it. The interior fits me well (at 6'-2") and I can even sit it the back without being squeezed, and have good leg room. The voice controls, and the smart phone interconnect work well. I like the interior trim and design, climate controls are simple to understand. Overall a very nice looking and performing compact suv (that doesn't feel too compact on the inside). And for those of you in the Seattle area, Doug's Cadillac was truly a pleasure to work with I highly recommend.

Low Fuel Econmy
Purchased 2019 XT4 brand new with 53 miles registered. I am approaching 20,000 miles and have averaged 18 miles per gallon mixed city and highway. The vehicle actually gets higher fuel economy in the city. I drive 120 miles interstate each way to work and that is where the fuel economy fails miserably. I have addressed this issue approximately 10 different times with Cadillac service and have contacted Cadillac directly, they do not seem to think there is a problem. Aside from the horrible gas mileage, I have had multiple recalls and the camera system has been non functional for about 25% of the miles I have driven it, cameras on back order. I would suggest that if you are looking at this vehicle to immediately look elsewhere!! 1/23/2021, at this time I have had to have the transmission replaced, the turbo replaced and then back in for faulty cracked spark plugs. I have had this vehicle for less that 18 months and it has been sitting at the dealer/Cadillac service for 3.5 months of that time. Take the warning on this one!!!

Small luxury nimble SUV
Nice ride. Fairly easy redundant controls. Have only ten days. Comfortable seats. Just enough power in acceleration. Only real gripe is water collects on front door wells after rain. Will have dealer check it out. Comes without a spare tire.

Perfect in town SUV
Comfortable, easy to drive, user friendly, couldn’t be more perfect for my needs and great visibility. I’ve gone from Tahoe to Explorer to this XT4. Family a little smaller and this is just right for us now.

Sporty Torque!
Leased 2020, Black on Black XT4. The torque and punch on this is unbelievable. More like a six cylinder than four cylinder. Tech and interior quality is top notch. Quiet inside and rides great on the 20 inch wheels and tires. Not sure what Edmunds is talking about, when they say jittery ride and short cuts taken. Maybe there just anti GM. Go test drive one, you won’t be disappointed.
