Used 2003 BMW 3 Series 325i Rwd 4dr Sedan (2.5L 6cyl 5M) Consumer Reviews
Dissapointed
I bought my 325I back in March(2003 Model) primarily for its engineering/quality. I have been sorely disappointed. It has been just 7 months and car's faulty transmission is being replaced. Bottomline I was looking at 525 as my future car and now I am not.
Doors (power windows, speaker trim)
power window regulators continually go bad (front and back), speaker trims break (cosmetic issue) in the doors (front). I'm tired of windows that won't go up or down without things breaking (breaking plastic, ginding sounds, and power windows completely inop). - "Regulator", as the shop personell blaim, needs redesigned.

Tall folks should be weary of seats
The BMW has a great sporty solid feel, and holds the road well. Cross wind performance in this car is also excellent. I liked the car very much "except" the seats. I am approx. 6'1 and over the 1 year I owned this car the seats became more and more uncomfortable. Several times I complained and requested some help from the dealer and BMW, and I never got satisfaction. This eventually due to extreme discomfort forced me to sell. Be careful if you are thinking of purchasing this car and you are tall.
i love my 325 i
i love my 325 i. it starts with the styling. the hood and grill smack of elegance and BMW quality. the sides are indented with a ridge that adds style to the overall car. the built in spoiler on the trunk adds a sporty, but sophistacated look. you wont believe the room that the "small" 325i offers in the cockpit. you dont feel like youre in a small car and the styling is just right. leg, head --all the room you need.
Keep your Asian import
I was so excited to get my new 325. Love the handling, comfort, smooth transmission........until the problems started. With less than 10,000 miles I had to replace a fuel injector, and one of the passenger side power mirror stopped operating. Now with 23,000 miles I just had to replace an oxygen sensor. Oh and I almost forgot to mention the manufacturer recall (6,000 miles) for another computer related problem. I will definitely sell this car before the warranty runs out and would advise against purchasing a BMW. It's back to relability of Honda/Acura and Toyota/Lexus for me!!
